The song, or should i say double A side, that was/were number one when i was born was "Summer nights/You're the one that i want".
Now everyone can pinpoint exactly how old i am!! (assuming they know anything about the songs and the year and month they came out of course )

Gotta be July 1978.
I remember Grease fever like it were yesterday....
Mine was "Paperback Writer", The Beatles in the UK & the US, & "Strangers in the night", Frank Sinatra in Australia.
Jeez, Ol' Blue Eyes & half of The Beatles are now dead! Damn, I'm old

ding ding ding ding correct!!! your McDonalds coupon is in the mail!! (if it's expired, you can always frame it!!)
My oldest sister was 10 at the time of "grease fever" and wanted to go see it, but my parents wouldn't let her. Thank goodness for years worth of repeats...!! (although she did briefly relive her youth when they had a big event for the movies 25th anniversary and went to the "premier" with all her mates. alll's well that ends well!)

"Angel Child" by Al Jolson
Every birthday I'm overcome with the need to blackup, roll my eyes and act like the illegitimate offspring of Ainsley Harriot.
