Food for thought: What is the best piece of advise anyone ever gave you, that has seen you get through some rough patches? I think mine was tomorrow is another day, no matter how bad things look.

My Dad always say's "dont be a liability to no man" My Mother say's "Dont rely on no man"  Have never forgotten that, and I dont.
An ex's brother said "dont let nobody determine your happiness" At the time; and still is, one of the best advice's I was given.

My Dad told me always look out for number 1, nobody else is going to do it for you.
He also told me a wise man learns from others mistakes and that it's good to listen to elderly advice.

The two best pieces of advise I've had or heard are as follows:
Former Regimental Police Sargent
"Always get your report in first".
And the Second from Shakespare's Hamlet:

I think Oprah Winfrey uses this one occaisonally and hey when Oprah speaks the world listens, so I am all ears. Another one she uses is IF it's too good to be true then it is too good to be true - i.e. dont get taken for a ride. I've received so much good advice in the past but here's three that I always think about:
My father told me, always try to be the best at whatever it is I am doing.
He also said never mess with another man's money or his woman.
A baseball coach of mine told me when I was 12 to never quit anything that I started. Because If I did I would always find a reason to quit.
