would you feel it?
Serious ting... I just heard a regular poster from another forum I check passed away from cancer and I felt it like it was someone I knew in the flesh
Funny that even thouh cats only post words they cn provoke you to feel that way if you heard anything happend to them
so my question is this.. do you really care about th other posters on here?? I know some of you link up in "real time" so they aint to be counted I just talking bout you avaerage regular poster

Yes I would feel it.....and I do panic sometimes when a regular hasnt posted for a long time.
Unless they explain their absence or they were banned.
I often wonder what happened to Native Tongue??
If I leave out of vexation or whatever,I usually will have told a mod,if you dont see me post for a long long time with no explanation...and say a mod has tried to contact me by e-mail and still no answer,it basically means i'm dead.

I've been lurking here for yrs and seldom post - but always reading (in between having 2 babies, working full time, studying, raising a teenager.
There are oher forums that I contribute to more so feel I "know" the people over there better and have indeed met up with many of them. So thinking about that forum, I would be very pset if someone from one of my regular forums died.
Sure we don't know them in the flesh (mostly) but the internet has created a whole new realm of friends and friendships. Cyber buddies, forum friends, people we engage with share views, seek advice from. PEOPLE behind the screens.

Yeah I would feel something for sure. Even if it were a poster I have tended not to see eye to eye with in the past, I would still feel some sense of loss from their demise. It is all to do with the way we are 'connected' as spiritual beings, not only as physical beings.
Mind you, if a certain poster calls out my name this year I might just do for them myself

I look at it this way: if we can react about the death of James Brown, wecan also react on the posters on here . While we may know ever see the faces of them, we know that there are human beings on here. The post the Marcus Garvey Lives is one about Natasha Derby is one that comes to my mind and that I reacted on( MGL, I definately remembered her). Death is death, no matter who died because I hate to see people die,especially young people.
