 These f**king cowards beat up and murdered another brotha just because he accidently bumped into one of them - and all this inside a restaurant with people in it.
I'm telling you, the things self-hatred makes some people do is ridiculous. If a skinhead walked inside that restaurant and called them a bunch of n*ggers I bet they would have hardly done or said f*ck all.

I fail to understand what makes a man hate himself so much that he's ready to kill the next human being that looks like him.
They already beat him up to prove their 'point', so why commit murder? 
The sad thing is, this brotha was an innocent father. Whether he had any priors himself I don't know, but now his kids are fatherless and for what? Some bullsh*t that wasn't even worth cussing over much less fratricide.

You're probably right. But I get the feeling that had it been a white person that bumped into them they wouldn't have reacted the way they did.
I can't count the number of times when I've been to parties or anywhere in public and I've seen black people size each other up for absolutely no reason at all, yet a white person would hardly get a second look. It's just crazy.

That's fine Nellia. I've come to the conclusion now that it would be better if some people just didn't post in this thread. My other thread in the news and politics forum was done with a bit of jest, but I don't want people to come in this one and shed crocodile tears (not referring to you) because they 'have to'.
Had I not upped this thread it would have sunk into oblivion anyway.

And people ask me why prefer beheadings rather than simple lethal injections.
People aren't outraged becasue they're used to it. I blame the show COPS and the media, they got us complacent.
But true say, I think it's more age than anything. A young brother dies, and you feel sad but it's nothing new, but an old lady dies and your just pissed off, cause this lady probably had a few good years left and some a hole took it from her.
I don't know if it's a race thing, but when ever their is a rash of murders, it's always a white victim that's the tipping point. Then people wake up. Boxing day murder of a white girl in downtown toronto is a perfect example.
But it does feel low, comparing victims.

Don't know PH, just speculating here, but I don't think that it is that they can't be "bothered", can't speak for others but for me I think that would be far from the truth.

Ok im gonna take the brave step and say I admit I was less shocked to see this than the other vid..
Not because I care less but probable because one victim was OLD and frail and the other although inncoent was a relativly young man...
I this is some sad sh*t and Im sick of it happeninng just like the rest of us.....but how do you counter self hate that some people have towards their won people? IF this was sooo shocking videos like "ghetto brawls" (incidently a man gets kicked to DEATH in the second edition) would not be so popular
so my verdict is sad yes.....shocking no.

I think initially people were more shocked by liberiangirl's statement rather then the video.
I haven't seen this one mainly because I don't want to see more violence. But I still maintain that we do care more about black deaths than white (justified) on BN.
I think we'd care for every race . We are the ones who are human after all. Whites imitate.

that happened to my boy....
while he was jogging bumped into these 2 dudes..said sorry one pulled a knife and slashed at him... dodged... and it just nicked him on the arm....
my boy then proceded to punch his light OUT....with one punch the other dude was such a p***y ..punk he stood there and was scared to join in after he saw.. his bredrin got his lights punched out...
i have to rate my boy ..because if that was me all now... id be still kicking that dude police ..fireman elctrician..plumber come.. id just be still kickin the dude..
how silly... dude was gonna try kill...my friend because he accidentally bumped into him...stupid...

Some people have such an overblown image of themselves, you can't call that self hatred, that they will take any slight mistake another person makes towards them as a personal affront, and attack that person. I think narcissism is a real problem in some segments of our communities. We have too many young people who walk around with a chip on their shoulder not giving a damn about any black person besides themselves. These same people however, will hesistate to treat a white person the same way because they are well aware that society is run by whites and that retribution for attacking whites in that same manner will be swift and harsh.

Well then it's self hatred. If they had any love for themselves and their own people they wouldn't behave in that manner. They don't value their own lives nor those of other Africans. They know that either way if they kill a white person or an African they're going to be sent down regardless, but when they see a reflection of themselves they immediately get filled with hostility. Believe me, I've seen it before.
