We dont have to be curious about them because everything we need to know about them is on display 24/7, whereas on the flip-side,there is very little about us that is known by them unless they choose to read other histories,read black press or engage in some way with black folk.
So some geniune interest is understandable,but unfortunately the majority of whites that people that come on BN have nefarious agendas.

The only Threads that aren't centered on how inferior Black people are (as compared to Whites) are focused on Racism and or banning Whites and or on how Superior Whites are to Blacks.

Like some times when you go to a club with all of your fellow black ferinds and some white person always come's along and try to hang out with you and your ferinds it happens all the time. This can easily go both ways..In a way realbrother is right (Even though hes a bi-polar idiot for saying 90% of black people hate themselves)... A good amount of conversation on this site revolves around white people. Usually its deragatory but its still about whites..That shows whites dominate your psyche to some extent..
You also have too take population into account, the reason why 50% of the black clubs in America is white is because whites are like 75% of the U.S. population. Therefore making the frequency of them being involved in black events much higher than vise versa...

Of course Black people are going to have to acknowledge and deal with White people, until a minute ago, our very survival in this country was contingent on understanding all of their idiosyncharacies: not to make eye contact, not to raise your voice when speaking to them, not to come off too "uppity", for fear of offending their fragile cracker egos, and other unspoken rules, not to mention the things that were inscribed into law. None of that is evidence of having some independent, unexplainable interest in them. They are the overwhelming majority in the places that many of us reside, not to be aware of their ways and psychosis as they pertain to us,would be unintelligent, impractical, and suicidal.
White people's enduring interest/preoccupation/fascination with us,however, is not rooted in anything basic or necessary to their survival. We have never had power over their lives, they in fact held the lion'share of power;making their preoccupation with us,both unneccesary,strange, and indicative of some major psychological issues in my opinion.

| One more thing, I'm sick of this recurring theme that seems to imply that talking about white people somehow precludes Black people from doing what they need to do in life. I can't speak for others, but I for one am capable of walking and chewing gum at the same time. I work full time and attend school,enjoy family, friends, hobbies, and travel,if I want to spend fraction of my time talking about white folks, I'll damn well do so.

We talk about whites because they are the majority and what they do and don't do affects our lives directly and indirectly. It would be idiotic for us not to talk about whites, when our history and present situation involves them. Whites on the other hand do not have this issue. | Le Moor, are sites like stromfront and the kkk website not purely set up for white people to talk about blacks and to bash blacks? If you consider the number of threads that are on this forum, threads that are talking about white people are very few in number and do not even come close to number of topics on black people these people have at stromfront. Go and do a count of how many black sites are devoted purely to talking about white people and how many white sites are devoted to talking about blacks and then come back to me and tell me that they're not more interested in us than we are in them. Even on general forums, which I visit from time to time, white people spend a great amount of time talking about blacks. Why is it that every time anyone mentions minorities, the first people white people point out are blacks? I live in Canada where Orientals form the largest minority in the country, yet every time a Canadian test book mentions minorities, they use black people as an example. Why is that, black people are only 2% of the Canadian population. We're only in Ontario and Quebec while Orientals are every where, yet it is us that they choose to talk about.

@ Le Moor, the reasoning that MMD, Aryek and myself are using is not akin to the example u gave of killing someone because they "deserved it", it's more akin to killing someone because they were trying to kill u; it's called self-defense and it falls within legal bounds, (in the U.S), and even if it didn't, I would reserve it/exercise it as my God given right.
I don't like to cast aspersions on other peoples motives, but I find it hard to believe that there are Black people on this board who don't see the logic/truth in what we are saying. If ya'll sincerely feel that way, so be it, but I feel like the logic and truth of our positions speak for themselves ,we'll just have to agree to disagree. I'm comfortable with the fact that all of us will never be on the same page, that never happens with any group of people and it certainly isn't likely to happen with Negroes, for a myriad of reasons. The trick is to get with like-minded individuals and ride with them. Everyone else usually gets on board when they see which way the tide will inevitably roll.

One of the biggest lessons i have learnt is that its pointless trying to debate with some people.
You get offended but cant see when you offend. Then you go down the "im blacker than thou route" and "your alligance to your people is in question road". Its all too typical and very boring sweety. (don't worry though your not the only one to take this simpleminded approach on this thread) Then i ask myself why? The answer is purely because I happen not to agree with you. My days been fine i just come back from a friends nice restaurant in Chislehurst with my girl. This is not the first heated debate and wont be the last i have no problem.
But in the meantime, rather than prolong an unprovoked bad argument, (what with your unnecessay insults), which seems to be what you think we are having, and if you want us to remain on at least a good civil basis, which I thought we had until now, than I suggest you do just as I said.

I'm black ,I have never felt the need to visit white sites ,racist or not for any reason,can any white person on this site explain why they are here,how did they find this place,??? what is this eternal fascination with us,if it wasn't slavery,it was colonization and now they are invading our space on the internet,I just don't get it.....

I googled inter racial relationships and this site came up. I decided to stay because it is one of the most interesting, intelligent and fun forums on the net. So yes I can explain how I found this place.

I feel the pain everyone is feeling about them invading our space.
Even in the US Whites are: Attending Black Colleges, Attending Black Clubs, Taken African Dance Classes, Attending Black churches to increase their members at the White Churchs to make money, Now sooo many of them in the South are marrying and having children from Blacks,They are working at All Black institutions, They are consistantly going to All Black Countries,and even Private parties for Blacks they invade.
I don't care where you go they are always there.
