Sadly, a lot of young girls do only see thugs or pretty boys. you are one or the other to them. a lot of young men do see two options, thug life or pretty-boy-life which might involve getting a good education and a career - good looks sometimes gives the owner more breaks in life. if a guy dont feel cut out for one lifestyle he might get into the other. selfconfidence, family support, commonsense, intelligence and all that can influence the choices young men make as well.
i dont think its about what these young girls want, young men should be all they can be and not accept limitations on what they can be. some youngsters feel uncomforatble doing anything unless its living up to some stereotype they got from the television they have been programmed by since birth. its the age of mtv. no one can make a black male into a thug if he uses his brain to think about whether that life is truly for him. i certainly wouldnt blame young girls who are subjected to all the same b.s. concerning who and what they should be.

actually the media and environmenthas affect on people to make them into wanna be thugs. I mean you don't make yourself speak english. Your parent's influence and environment does that. You don't make yourself become the person you are. your parent's and environment soes that.

I know many girls who will open their mouths and talk the ''good talk'' but in reality they're out there looking for that guy who has that instant/impulsive attration which is shallow but seen as sexy (the bad boy and pretty boy). The guys with real substance are left undescovered and unexplored because the value of what they have to offer is not superficial and just to much work or too scarey or uncomfortable for some. That's the ways nowadays. And those who go on impulse get burnt want to open their mouths and then generalise

I definitely mean it. I've never been impressed by that. And i've been offered it numerous times to take if I wanted it. I could not get along with someone that had shallow values of themselves or anyone else. If their own beauty is the only thing they feel they have to offer, then most likely that is all they have to offer. My fiance is motivated, has an education (and continues to learn and explore and educate himself further through life), talent and a great genunine personality. Just how I like em and the only way i'll have them.

| i dont go for a 'pretty' boy or a thug i go for boys that have ambition in life. i wouldnt go for a thug because i would never trust him- im not going to stereotype and call them 'useless' etc...because not all of them fall under this category. i know some 'thugs' who are lovely ppl inside just misguided and lost.
