Well yes I would keep the baby, to keep the man in bondage for the rest of his life my mentality is 'he's my rapist'. I'm very revenge driven and I’d keep the baby for all the wrong reasons probably in the warped idea that without love I could use the child to later manipulate the farther and or destroy him. Besides Rapist like to think they've gotten away with it, a baby would probs be their worst nightmare, also for a court case and forensics (to make a better case). All for the wrong reasons.
 but even so the baby is apart of dad if u keep it then boy most probaly if you dont train him or her up properly then he probaly turn out to be jus like him who raped u.you cant really use the child to manipulate him and detroy him cause he will be laughing most likley at u cause u keep and gave birth to a person jus like him the baby his apart of him too u of to think about dat aswell dats why most girls have abortion cause they cant bare the fact dat every time they look at dat child they remember wat happened to dem are they see the dad because it looks jus like him.

I believe that once that sperm hits the egg, it has the right to live but far be it for me to tell another person that they are killing their child let God decide the punishment for a person deciding to kill another

i feel late coz ive only just spotted dis topic anwayz, firstly there aint nothin wrong with watching eastenders i must have to much time coz i be watching it 2 lol !
Anywayz on the topic yeh, i think its hard to say what you would do unless you have been in that situation coz at the end of the day rapist or not the babies still 1/2 urs. I went through all that like last summer and at first my boyfriend was like 'its your fault, you let this happen' etc. but then when he found out i was pregnant he said it wouldnt matter and he would accept the baby as his own. After hitting 4 months we found out their was a high chance the baby could have disablities and thats when my boyfriend changed his mind. So i had a termination and even know im in 2 mind about whether it was the right thing to do but having a baby that wasnt trough love and knowing that it was his would have been pretty difficult but i still think any women that keeps a baby after all that is very brave xxx

It happened to me and i,m not going to keep the baby. I was at a party someone out somethin in ma drink and now im almost 3 mo pregnant at first i didnt kno what i was gonna do or how i was going to tell my mom but theres not much i can tell on the account of i dont remember anythin so i decided not to go to the cops and just put it in the back of ma head. I havent told my Boifriend yet and im debating on if i should or how hell react....

I know someone who's father raped her mother. Her mother never found out who the attacker was but she decided to keep her baby when she found out she was pregnant. Her daughter is now her best friend. I don't know how they did it, but I guess it goes to prove that love can overcome hate.
personally, I would get an abortion w/out even thinking about it. Besides the fact that I am not prepared in life to rear a child at this moment, I could not bear the thought of carrying a product of such a tramatizing event in my life, even if I knew I was going to give it away, which would also be hard for me to do regardless of if I didn't want to raise it myself.

No man would be able to keep in with that one.
First off your girl has been raped, thats a serious infringement on a mans ability to protect, not on some macho tip but on a psycological level thats a real tough one to deal with especially if it happened while they were in a relationship together.
Secondly she wants to keep the baby... that makes the first infringement 100x worse, it'd shatter their relationship. The anger, the helplessness involved in resolving the matter is a whole heap for a guy to deal with. Too much. If it happened outside of the relationship then yeah prehaps but otherwise... not to mention a woman would change after such an experience. Would even be a nightmare leaving her but it'd be the baby or the relationship. Simple.
Still... what woman wouldn't go to the doctor to make sure theres no chance of getting pregnant in the first place? Unless shes embarrassed but even then going for a check up makes sence and who would want to keep a child after that?
