I see where peeps are coming from, but from Lil Mo's perspective, I think shes just keepin it coz da poor woman's been through BARE sh*t, and I think she feels that a baby will make her feel more needed and loved because there is a life that needs to depend on her completely, and although it's a b**tard baby, she gon keep it despite her family n Billy.

Ok well Stoosh you have brought up a very interesting subject...i can safely tell you the answer....
there is no answer....
unless you have been through this paticular incident or been in a situation similar i dont think anyone can really say as you never know how you will react untill it happens to you... and even then there will be a different reaction for each person.....
i'll be honest i didnt think anyone would be able to even try and rape me...but it happened...i was lucky i didnt get raped i was saved just in time...but i'll be honest its changed my life...i think that a lot of the people who posted replies saying they would kill themselves are obviously weak people....
Noone wants to be raped but the simple fact is it happens...and if you think that just because one bad thing happens that you should end your life you are stupid... bad things happen to everyone you just gotta get through it!!
As for the pregnant part well... i can comment on this as well.... even though i am only very young not too long ago i became pregnant despite usuing contraception and when that failed the morning after pill...it seriously worried me,especially as it looked as though the man whos child it was was likely to go to jail...i also knew that this man wouldnt want the baby and my whole life would be changed....notice how i use the word 'changed' not 'ruined' because children dont 'ruin' lives you yourself ruin your own life a child is simply a wonderful creation...
i was strongly advised that i abort the baby.... and i booked an appointment at a clinic.... two days before i was due to go into the clinic i lay in my bed thinking that i couldnt get rid of my child...i could give it all the love it needed...with or without the father...and i decided not to go through with it... what changed my mind was the fact that even though this baby would be born out of sadness,it didnt matter because it could become so much more... however the next day i miscarried...it broke my heart....
i know that the situations are different but i just think that once you experience the feeling of carrying a child and you feel that unconditional love for it no matter what...it doesnt matter who the father is,it doesnt matter what the situation is...it wouldnt even matter to me if the baby was a result of rape.... my love could overcome that...i believe all love can.... and you could make that child a good thing that came out of a bad situation...

See dat ain' t exactlt true cause there this chick at ma church, she 21 now. She told us how she a rape child and she grew up with so much love in her family even though she was a rape child. She grew up with her grandparents and her mum. She made something of herself and became a Lawyer. She flossin and sh*t and she was like ain't no need to be treated differently cause she still a normal person and it's the persons own decision what they do with their life despite what she is.

Well yes I would keep the baby, to keep the man in bondage for the rest of his life my mentality is 'he's my rapist'. I'm very revenge driven and I’d keep the baby for all the wrong reasons probably in the warped idea that without love I could use the child to later manipulate the farther and or destroy him. Besides Rapist like to think they've gotten away with it, a baby would probs be their worst nightmare, also for a court case and forensics (to make a better case). All for the wrong reasons.

What people fail to realise is, rape is no laughing matter.
It's a form of power, not the giving of a female's innermost feelings.This is a tricky question because I can't condone the murder of a baby...but I can understand why it would be relevant. I muse whether it would be acceptable to allow such a baby to exist but with the knowledge of how it was conceived, or to abort because you, as a female, would never be able to forgive the child for the manner in which it was conceived.
My personal view is that it's up to the female to decide.

1st of all Eastenders is a good programme it can be very imformative at times other times it's just jokes.
If someone is raped it's their decision but i feel that its best to keep the baby.
The baby is innocent just as the female who got rapped
Aborting a child is dening a child life just as the male that rapped the women denied her of freedom of choice.
If a women got rapped and aborted a her child in some way(in my opinion) it would be in turn passing on the evil that happened to you. Almost a reflextion
I know by law its not classed as murder but it's the murder of killing a potential life.Just like the man who rapped a women committed the murder of killing the potential of the women growing in spirituality,mentally etc.

Just thought i would add if anyone decides to have an abortion you need to think deeply.It can affection you mentally,and emotionally.
When i was at school it happened to a girl in my class. She did not keep the baby but it sent her crazy because she thought that if she got rid of the baby then the pain and hurt would go away.
She was wrong
She fell sick with guilt and everytime she saw a baby she would hold her stomach. As far as i know she has still has got the scanned picture of her baby. She told me that a part of her died when she aborted he child. She started to cut herself because she felt what she did was wrong.
What i found strange was she kept dwelling on the fact that if she could kill her own baby that she could kill anybody.
It kind of scared me to hear her talk such things.
I was just wondering if the man (who rapped a women) had any rights over seeing his child (if the women decided to keep the baby)?

A respectable point,this maybe off topic but what about babies concieved under the circumstance of e.g
An accident-e.g i know a child whose mother was loose and had a fling with a married man because she was bored.They didn't love each other. Now the baby was concieved out of sheer boredem. Is that right?
What if a prostitute get pregnant by her pimp or client...should she get rid of her baby?
Also, out of the fact you can get a house from the council if you have a baby.
Babies are concieved out of diverse situations whether its right or wrong Love or no love.
