You can blame this whole young girl older men stuff on BET, MTV, BET UNCUT, MTV AFTER HOURS, all that stuff.
All you see in videos is women wearing a pair of shoes and that's about it. How can you not expect a girl 11, 12, 13, 14-15 years old to be influenced by all those video girls shaking and showing their goods.
I mean don't get me wrong, I'm a grown man so I ain't got no problem with it. But if a young female mind constantly sees these videos and then hears them all day on the radio, while they're driving with friends or walking down the street, they're naturally going to want to represent what they see in the video. That means they know the fellas like the thongs, alter tops, cut off T-shirts with no bra, the super short shorts and skirts, skirts with no panties, etc. They are drawn to what's being fed into their minds.
Prime example. I'm sitting at a stop-light yesterday and I notice that there's a suburban that's stopped almost in the middle of the street when it should be going through the green light. As I look I see that there are 3 fellas in the truck talking out the window to someone. Sure enough it's a young girl. She couldn't be no more than 13-14 years old. So, what's the big deal about this girl that makes a truck stop in the middle of the road to holla at her? She's wearing a tight-fitting mid-drift shirt obviously with no bra (she was developed for a young lady), and a super short jean skirt. The skirt was so short that you could tell she either had on a thong or no panties. The first thing I thought was "damn, her mother let her dress like that?". But then I realized that her mother probably dresses the same way.
So now you have girls realizing that the less close you wear, the more attention you'll get from the boys driving cars with the 22 inch rims on it.

I am a 14 (just turned) year old girl and personally I do find myself attracted to older boys. However it isn't anything to do with the fact that it'll make me look better or i'm trying to grow before my time it is just a preference. As I am one of the youngest in my family and in my area i'm naturally surrounded by older people (boys in particular) and feel I can connect with them better however i do know where to draw the line (which is 16 by da way) although it is hard because I do look older than what I am and even though I am truthful about my age I am still approached by people much older than me.I don't think it is fair to call young girls who sleep with way older boys nasty as at the end of the day it isn't as black and white as that. (by da way i'm a virgin)

| Yeah, 14 and 16 - that's a good age gap. I think age matters less once you reach 16, but it's still an issue until your 18. A boy who's 17 should no better than to be with a girl who's 13. I think that's probably rare anyway. Girls will always go out with older men, they're more appealing and more experienced; men will often go out with younger women because they may feel they have more control over them. Infact a lot of my friends (who are 15) have been out with guys who're 20+, why are these men interested in such young girls? Although I personally think age doesn't matter once you're 16, as long as both people are over 16.

| Exactly - I doubt it's the girls initiating the contact. The men have more to answer for. If an attractive older man is interested, then obviously you'll feel flattered and probably give them more time of day than someone your own age. It's a status thing, an older guy is seen as "better". Proves a girl's attractiveness in a certain way? Even in schools, the guys always seem to be with a girl in the year below, because the girls in their own year just aren't interested.
