One course that I applied to was Anatomical Science at Bristol.
Before they give a place to anyone they invite them down to the uni for an open day where they give a tour of the place and an "informal discussion" which i think is basically an interview.
My question is what the hell are they going to ask ???!??!???
Is it just going to be a normal conversation on why i chose the uni and why bristol etc
Or questions on whats going on with anatomy in the news and stuff???
I didn't think at all that they'd even consider me so I don't have a clue on any of this! and i dont have any friends who have gone to bristol or doing this course.
Could really do with some help! x

Wow. Never heard of that before and all my open days are over the next month and these unis have accepted me already so I'm not in your predicament.
I guess it wouldn't harm yourself to brush up on the subject and have an answer ready for common questions as you have listed such as "why have you chosen this subject" and being up to speed with anatomical stuff in the media and make yourself stand out - Dressing smartly.
Sorry I can't help you as much but since it isn't a formal interview, there isn't as much pressure I hope!

Whats a dhol anyway?
You can take the pressure off by being confident... and sneaky. If you know the admissions person or professor/lecturer, you can worm your way in I guess, asking lots of questions and basically being a Keeno - don't go OTT though.
I'd do the same in your position. Don't worry too much though - chances are they'll be others on this open day in the same position as you...

I agree, I think the important thing is to try not to stress about it (impossible I know!) because at these kind of things what they want to do is usually just to meet you and answer any questions you may have and to see if you have a real interest in the subject. These kinds of days are also designed to give you an opportunity to look at the uni. It is important to remeber that it is also a time for you to assess them and see if you want to attend their uni! GoodLuck.
