| Well the only two things that matter in the States is Business and Politics. Thats why my undergraduate is in Business Administration and I am currently a Law student (but that my change b/c I an thinking about dedicating more time to a business venture with some angel investors). But the most popular degrees for blacks in the U.S. is business b/c we decide not to work for "da man". Black business in the U.S. is growing at a much faster pace than whites or anyone else of that matter.

| Well.. my primary plan is to go to medical school studying to be a family doctor, and if that doesn't work out( but it will), my next choice is law school with emphasis on business law.

well in september in lookin 2 study LLB LAW at Nottingham Uni (providin i get da grades). I must say though when i was offered a place and i visited da uni i wasnt impresssed with the lack of black people. I was da only black girl goin 2 read law.
Why dont sum more black people apply there so i wont be so alone???? Most of my friends wana go hertfordshire or luton uni basically coz its easy 2 get in and there's so many other black people. Its not just about goin uni nowadys its about where u go too- branch out a bit and show every1 that black people can go 2 any uni.
Boiii if i had da brains i would wanna go 2 oxford/cambridge jus 2 say im a black girl dat did.

| I go to Nottingham uni and there are more black people than you think Sweet 'n' Sour, but still, it's not like Mancheter or Birmingham. I guess everyone's quite tight though so that's a positive.

Well good question. I went to University for several reasons. First to further my education. I desired to study the History of my country in depth, Southern history in particular and African American history as well. I also went to university because that is what is expected of all my family. I went because my father went, my grandfather, his father, and his father and his father. I dont know anyone in my family who didnt go to University so it was what we do. I went to Graduate school to become more knowledgeable and use it as a practicial method for a career/
I chose the University and college I went to because my family has gone there for for 7 generations since 1867 and so it was where we go. I chose the Ivy league university for reasons that it is the best University level in the US and has some of the most intensive courses, great reading lists, top professors, competitive students, wonderful arts and cultural amenities, great social and political clubs and organizations.
