Congrats Soofresh, and to all those who are awaiting their results good luck!

A'levels were some of the hardest exams i have ever done, and i remember the day i got mine like it was yesterday!

Anyway to all those celebrating enjoy it.banana.gif

To all those who didn't do as well as they expected or wanted, don't worry it is only the beginning of your journey, and there is plenty of time to turn it around and get where you need to be.blkrubhead

@athba i am going to do Mpharmacy degree.

to answer the question if A-levels are easier then what they used to be, I can only say I dont knowconfused3

I did look at past exam papers but they only go back 5 years, and they are the same standard as this years exam. I did find the exams hard  DAMN CHEMISTRY that was hard!!!! Biology was easy, and same goes with Sociology. The Maths exams was okay.

Whether 20 years ago the exams were harder, I really cannot answer as I was unable to get papers dating that far!

but to be honest whether people want to state that exams became easier does not bother me, at the end of the day I am going to be a pharmacist, and how I got their is irrelevent to me.

I Passed my A-level exams and congratulations to everyone else that did! I'm going to university, but i hope that there will be a significant number of black people there. I also hope they won't be stuck up as there are a few suggestions from other posts in blacknet that some black women feel superior to the black men although i don't think this is true.

@Blaze so why say it?

@MT - LOL i am just waiting for those comments.

Anyway, BB i think the a'levels are the same as they were when i took it. But they have been saying that a'levels have got easier for the past 20 years, each year it is easier. I took mine in 1996 (DAMN I FEEL OLD) and they were saying the same thing then. Only people that go through it will know how hard it is.

SO WELL DONE ONCE AGAIN GUYS!clp)

Congratulations to all that passed!...........small word of caution though......96% ppl passed their A Levels this time......spare a thought for the unfortunate 4% who didnt....and if they had passed then 100% would have passed obviously so(and I'll say this as gentle as can be!)Now put yourself in the shoes of an Employer or U were connected with Uni. entry what do U do when presented with a student who told U the've taken their A Levels when U know they must have passed as everyone did?...incredible to think that if the other 4% had passed every single person in the whole country would have passed......!!.......what used to happen was that the students competed against each other i.e. The Top 15% were automatically given "A" s the next 20% "B"'s and so on and so forth.........having said that a student can only pass the Exams that they are presented with.......so....well done again!clp)
