For brunel I would say you could do better.
Brunel I know about and from what I hear kingston is not that different. I would say try and set your sights a little higher.

OI, Twistedsista, no! I am a Brunel alumnus, thank you very much!!
To Bdiamond, it depnds on what course you are doing. I did a PGCE t the now closed Twickenham campus and there were a few Black folks. They had another campus nearby which did the health and social care course and, as you would expect, plenty Black people doing that.
But my course has now moved to the uxbridge campus, which i can;t speak for. Plus my course was only a year long and any time i spent at uni was mainly at the twickenham campus.
Sorry couldn;t be more help. Both unis have websites if you care to take a look.

Both Uni's a very good, Kingston is mainly white people, but there is a strong ACS group that can support you, area is nice cinema and malls are within walking distance and theres a free bus that can transfer you from campus ( from Penrhyn, if my memory serves me correctly) Halls of Reds is expensive £97 a week en suite
Brunel is nice university friendly etc has a high African population (uxbridge side esp) so you may feel more comfortable, there is still an ACS group as well, because its London Halls will be expensive too.
But yeah like MB said check out their sites, I'm sure its the uni's name and then ac.uk at the end...

This may be relevant to you...
I think you should try Roehampton University, which is just situated about 15 mins from Kingston University. It is great for combining unusual degrees e.g. business and drama, or biology and creative writing.
On the league table Roehampton is above Kingston, but both universities are quite good.
The ACS in Roehampton is apparently in working progress, but no matter what Roehampton colleges you go to there is a significant amount of black, arab, asian, and people from other nationalities.
The scenary is nice, especially in Frobel. There are also numerous historical buildings situated in Frobel, Digby Stuart and Whitelands.
If u can check Roehampton out. Hope this is helpful.
