Sorry, but looking at the french rankings i must say that this is totally crap....some of the best french unis are outscored by well-known crap universities.
@Coltrane
Does it reflect the "official" British university ranking correctly?
btw....i would always rate Cambridge and Oxford higher than any American university
PS: just read the methodology...and it explains a lot

Thank you finished up my Master's Thesis in Environmental Policy Management, with a concentration in Environmental Chemistry in December from Stanford. I had previously been in a non thesis programme. I got my BS, in Aero Space and Mechanical Engineering at MIT 16 years ago now.
The house is now compleat and fully furnished. I still have some gardening issues. By the summer it shoud be ready. Thanks for your inquiry. You are welcome to come by if you are in the States.

Actually quite small. We were able to organise a group called "Chocolate City" at MIT. It consisted of all students of colour even though spear headed by the Blacks. At Stanford I became a member of Kappa Alpha Psi, Fraternity which spanned UC Berkly and UC Davis.
I met then faculty member Rice ( Now State Secretary), courteous and formal, but to me a bit standoffish.

I am working on patent for a device that requires a portable ionisation source ( similiar to the "ionic breeze" air freshening device but, which can be placed directly into the ventilator register). ANy ideas on a battery that is good for 60-90 days that can provide that kind of current?

I guess I don't know what level of current or voltage you are trying to sustain. Are you looking for 3, 5, 12V or higher of DC? What typical current draw (in milli-amperes) do you expect when active? Does the device "sleep," or is it on all the time for the full 60-90 days? Finally, how much space are you looking to work with?
I see designs that people have where they consider the power source as the last specification and they end up redesigning significant parts because they expected power to just "be there."

Here is how the palefaces have us and most of themselves psyched out by the school. They want to promote the idea that intelligence is genetically based, but schools can't give people intelligence. Why can't the exceptionally intelligent learn without the schools. Look at what we have to work with now. Computers, the internet, CDs, DVDs all we need to do is start using them effectively.
You can buy a used computer today for less than $300 that is more powerful than the IBM 370 mainframe that they had at the engineering school I attended in the 70's.
You can download an entire CD of books from Project Gutenberg here:
Guten_Books
You can download an automated book reading program here:
Auto_Read
If we would stop b!tching and start cooperating with each other the internet makes it possible to alter the structure of this society. The schools mostly just psychologically condition the kids anyway.
umbrarchist
ps - That CD has 600 books on it. My problem with Gutenberg is they usually don't tell you what a book is about or how good it is. We need quality filtering to stop wasting people's time.

Coltrane,
Worldwise, I think that the Sorbonne , Oxford and Cambridge are great schools. I also like some Colleges in Asian(In specific, Japan)In the states: I like Stanford, Brown, Penn State , Harvard , Yale, Georgia Tech, Emory University, Howard University, UCLA, Columbia University, Baylor, University of Nebraska, University of Florida , Vanderbuilt . I used to like Duke until those Lacross players raped that woman. There are others that I may name later

@All just read the first three universities which are damn good schools..But went no further and can see this is a joke. No European or French institution until what number whatever...
Yep a bit like Pamela Anderson is the world's most sexiest woman. A bit of US propaganda because if you spent time in the company of too many of their elite students compared to those from Europe or Britain you would see the difference and would not take too long.
