Is anybodY here from the san francisco area of california............Please respond and let me know......I am going there this summer for a long period of time and have never been before so I want to know what it's like there, including things to do, areas to go, (all on a black perspective) When i go abroad to different places, I don't like to do tourist things, like sightseeing and that stuff......!
I will also be going to other citys including L.A, san diego, but i'm going new york too.....traveling the states for the summer...! Can't wait..!
So people, what should i look to enjoy to do on my travels!

I go to school at UC Berkeley, across the Bay from San Francisco. There's not as many Mexicans here as there are in Los Angeles. The weather is usually mild...sometimes we get a bit of rain, and oftentimes a cool breeze from the ocean/bay.
Things to do:
fisherman's wharf
Alcatraz Island
Golden Gate Park
Golden Gate bridge
California academy of science (at GG park)
Chinatown
Haight Street
UC Berkeley campus
Berkeley Marina
Free saki tasting at saki museum near marina
look at all the bums and stoners in Berkeley

Im in New York City. What is there to do besides shop shop and eat? There are like a million museums, Clubs, resturants. You can even go to Buffalo and see Niagra Falls. Theres also shopping. Central Park in the summer is lovely. Theres shopping. See a play. Be a tourist for a day. Once you get here you will find things to do. See all the places in movies you always wanted to see. This is an amazing state.
You will have tons of fun here.
