| The uni is alright, it really depends what you are looking for in a university. Previously I went to London College of Printing, and i felt that was rubbish, and there wasn't help on advice if you was struggling with your work. I've found that London met is much more helpful in that area, but that maybe due to doing a different course.

| Its a university. you will be going to study not look at the building or the beautifully defined cultures there. I will be going there in september to do my masters in social work. I have heard there administration is quite bad. in fact i got invited to my second interview by phone and recieved the letter three days after the actual interview. Its not my first choice, i done my degree at goldsmiths but unfortunately i didn't get in for the MA. goldsmiths is nice, the lecturers, the resources, there is parking and loads of food shops which is good for breaks and lunch. there are two train and tube station across the road and you get plenty of support from stuff with uni work and equally personal problems. I don't really like the location of lm. its far from the station, hardly any food shops and no parking and its far from my house, ten tube stops and now with all these bombings i don't even want to get on a tube but i cant drive, theres no parking and the congestion charge has gone up, like it aint hard for us young students as it is already. but if that is the only uni option i have then im going mate.

Some tips.
* universities are set up to brainwash you.
* they weren't intially meant for people of color and still maintain some of their original purpose.
* you can gain valuable information there but you have to have your wits about you.
* the cirriculum in most cases is set and you're rewarded for crafting favorable responses as opposed to the right ones.
* choose a programme that allows latitude or something obscure or unexpected of you, like perhaps studying pre-indo-european civilisation or languages. these courses tend to throw up items of information beyond the norm.
* if your goal is to get a job after university choose a more vocational course, or perhaps consider going to university later on and just go out and get a job.
* don't socialize.
* don't drink.
* don't take drugs.
* don't engage in any insalubrious or illicit activities.
* if you must, take up a sport instead.
* keep yourself to yourself, be the geek in the corner if you have to, you'll get better grades and you'll have a better chance of staying the course.
* realize you're being rewarded for fitting into a plan, for maintaining discipline, rather than for your noetic prowess.
* keep this in mind at all times, but don't let on to your white peers. just pretend to fit in as best as you can without actually committing yourself to any fraternity/sorority or clique. go to your classes, go home.
* travel back to the hood or wherever you're from as much as humanly possible.
* be wary of the reading materials, especially if they promote alternative lifestyles or are irreligious. take them with a pinch of salt.
* when you get your grades back for assignments or exams results keep it to yourself don't go round saying "what did you get" keep it to yourself.
* if you really want to rock the boat, drop out about two months before the end as this will prevent you attaining your "degree." got that? your "degree."

I attend London Metropolitain, and find it very disorganised. But I guessed this is because they have now come together with Guilhall university recently.
Everytime you go to the undergrauadte centre for enquires, they never know the answer for anything, there like amateurs lol.

i'm deadly serious man.
behave like the muslims.
you'll notice they keep to themselves.
hang with them if you have to, but don't join them (don't convert).
if you have a girl (from home), get her to move in with you if possible.
if you meet a girl at college, make sure she isn't just looking for thrills. ask her to marry you straight away, before you even touch her. if she says no, dump her.
date white girls at your peril.

Well NATFHE are taking industrial action at the moment, so some people are going to have to wait until who knows when to get their results as some modules haven't been marked. Not great for a university trying to improve its reputation.
