Hey, What's this? Dissing on in the Poetry Forum?
Is there no area sacred in this place?....lol
Personally, I feel the same way about the use of the 'b' word in lyrics as I do about the 'n' word......it's divisive, destructive and serves no useful purpose. In much the same way the 'n' word carries certain negative connotations against black people in general, the 'b' word carries certain negative connotations against black women in general (as opposed against a certain type or character of woman). Hence why it tends to degrade our woman in much the same way that the 'n' word degrades our people.
Besides, there is little creativity or talent involved in saying something negative, even less in copying someone elses work and just tweaking it a little in the hope that no one would notice.

| I hate that poem and I've always hated Jay-z's song "b**ches and sisters. It seems like the only women that can avoid be classified a b**ch is his mother or his daughter. Its plenty of good sisters around helping them out everyday(even a few that they have destroyed or turned out themselves) but they focus on a few negative chicks and forget about how they have help to create some of those b**ches.
