I never talk about you
The pain never goes away

Growing up was hard
Choosing right over wrong
Was a mission within itself
And I made the wrong choice
I never put much thought into what I was doing
Never had the right support
So I ended up this way
I could spend all day blaming myself for the events that took place
But they were choices that need to be made

My tears I cry, I cry for you
My laughter is for you
And the happy times we could have shared
When I smile it is me smiling at you
My love for you is deeper than the life that has been taken away
Time cannot be turned
And nothing can change
Not even the mind of those who did not even want to know you
They are the people who should be experiencing death
Pushed you away
Made it seem as if your existence would be a threat
And I was put in a position that changed my fate.
I would do anything to have that choice again
Now I have seen what my life could have been like
If I had walked through the other door
Made a choice against peoples wishes
Against my own
I would give anything to hold you in my arms
