if you are Haitian....merci..if you are not Haitian thank you..we are all Africans...
they say that we are the worst../
but we're the FIRSt/
forget a picket sign..true revolution was started with a gun burst/
and a never ending thirst/
for freedom .......we laugh at Ham's "curse"/
we defeated the French, and what's worse/
took the white out of the flag..and cut off the purse-/
strings to France...1804 can we reverse?/
2 hundred years back to that first/
signal to revolution ..this is the last verse/
