Too Little Too Late
I found my soul mate, ten years too late and now I'm lost amongst the ones trying to find a place to embrace my new reality. Dealing with second rated men who weren't made for me. Watching my life being lived through the shoes of another female as I try and hold on to all memories that I have of him.
How can I let go? How can I walk away from the only true love that I've ever known? How can I possibly release my soul to another man? How can I give myself to anyone else except him?
He's all that I've ever wanted down to his tennis shoes and back up to his pearly thirty- two's, this man is the one that I choose. But I still end up loosing and my heart continues to be bruised and I don't know how to soothe it. So what can I do to patch this wound?
When I'm sick he's my medicine, when I'm lost he's my map of directions, blowing in the wind. Do I have to live the rest of my life stressing that I was cheated in the soul mate selections? There has to be at least one person out there who understands my circumstances, and can give me a seconds chance with the somebody that I was meant to spend my life with.
