Sum people may say, I carry on in a different way, U won't neva see me ashamed to say what I want an need, Or in ma yard studyin ma books 2 find ma way an succeed
Yeah der's always gunna be dem wuns dat are gonna try an obstruct
But I've prepared maself mentally so I won't neva be stuck, wiv no goals or no mind sets...lyke summa dese skets
I'll find legits ways to make money unlike dem wuns dat have 2 jack 2 get fed
People may assume cuz of how I live, an how I speak
That I aint in tha rite frame of mind, or got tha skills to achieve
That's how i'm perceived, by people who claim 2 b more 'intelligent' than me
So tell me - why do u think so restrictively?
I may not know tha meanin of every word, I may not have the highest IQ - but while ur lukkin down on me....tell me suttin, do you?
The way I see things are diffrent to a no hoper, cuz I don't follow fashion, I follow ma ambition an ma goals
Yeh u mite c me rollin on street wiv labels glarin at u from every point of view, but it dnt mean i'm wearin dem 2 lukk man, or impress you
I aint ABOUT tha follow fashion, an what i hate most with a passion are dem wuns dat care more bout fashion than der studies
Dem wuns dat fink der hotter than u cuz of what's on their receipts or in their wardrobes, but tha way ur carryin on, in a few years will u even have wardrobes?
When u got manz knockin on ur door tellin u 2 pay rent, an ur unable 2 supply him cuz of the money u spent, and time u spent, on materialistic things dat won't better ur future

Cuz if u spend ur tyme relyin on some1 else 2 supply ur needs, u wont neva exceed tha level u bin dragged up to
Rely on urself an it won't b as easy 2 get let down, prepare ur own security an have ur own back-up plan. Soon as u achieved ur GCSE's or further studies, or whichever place u set urself up 2 be...find a good way 2 earn ur own

Hey 'Swifty, I understand u posted dis thread in July and have had no responses.
Well I jus joined da club and while looking thru I fell upon a pearl piece.
U got a clear message in ur poem and its wid clarity, even so, dat I can picture da type of person u r!
And these following edited lines tell me more about u, and by dis I mean dat ur poetry is deep, and unique because not many on dis site have ability 2 incorporate their true self in their art. Yours is great art.But I would make suggestions dat u learn 2 furnish and give off a final polish 2 ur art!!

lol! U no I 4got I posted that, I thought I got a whole heap of stuff on ma pc might aswell post sumthin lol - Thanks a lot 4 tha compliments! I always write stuff down when somethin's botherin me, cause all of those things were happenin so I juss kinda..let it allll out, I think u basically summed up 'me' from the things I wrote, I mean that u picked out the lines I would pick out 2 represent me
I wrote that when I was 15, had I written it now it probably would have come out a lot better *the english* I know..ma english needs more tidyin up now lol
