You know what's wrong,
yet you don't do right,
abusing your knowledge of the truth could prove fatal.
Your heart is in the treasure of momental satisfaction,
weak willed your words contradict your actions
Self-imposed iniquity
a reflection of your stupidity.
Claiming to stand firm
but when push comes to shove
you now lay horizontal with no rock to speak of.
The convicting voice of conscience
rings clearly in your ear
yet you choose to be deaf,
unfeeling to your gradual loss of life
as the double edge cuts deeper.
You're like a dog going back to its vomit,
only you have the power to stop it.
Given the choice you chose the seed being sown,
though you repent
