My heart is drained
of all emotion
of all sensation
i'm aching
cause once again i've mistaken
yet another person for love
too many times has love had me blind to
the wicked truth of the one i felt would be that last
to make me feel used
confused
abused
misguided
unable to hide it
the fact that
love once again has left me subsided
i never want to feel this
pain
i'm tired
too tired
why must i be the one constanly frying under the sun
constantly crying
constantly dying
emotionally im weakining
who's to rescue me?
from the hands of saddness, sorrow , and pain
when cant i claim unconditional joy
unconditional love
when?
until then
i will reside and wonder why?
