I don't like pierced ears in men but I'm unfashionable so I'll let that slide LOL
I don't agree with piercing babies anyway. Should wait until they can take themselves to go get pierced later.

| I had my ears peirced when I was a baby but oddly enough, when I see babies with peirced ears, I really don't like it. Kids are growing up fast enought these days without having to look like mini-adults.

NO!NO!NO!
Maybe I'm old-fashioned, but as far as I'm concerned earrings are for girls. No men in my family have their ears pierced, and that's the way it'll stay.
LD,
I'm more concerned that your Hubby tried to get your son's ears pierced behind your back. He needs a "good talking to"

I think it is dreadful to pierce babies and indeed children's ears. They are bueatiful enough already and def dont need to wear earrings. Let them choose for themselves when they are adults or at least over 16!
But then I am not a parent and it is a parents choice!

I'd wait until he was old enough to decide for himself if he wants his ears pierced. Personally, I don't like ear piercings on boys.
Some people's piercings heal over pretty quickly after they remove their earring or if they don't wear anything for a long time so when he starts going to nursery/school and can't wear it, the piercing might heal over anyway.
And then there's the laborious 6 week after care procedure to think about: 3 times a day with the ear care lotion and can't remove the stud for 6 weeks at least.
Very rarely do I see baby boys getting their ears pierced.

hmmmm two piercings for a babie boy, doesn't sound good to me.
I had my ears pierced when i was a baby. I didn't grow up too fast, in fact my earrings had nothing to do with the way in which i matured. So it really is up to the parent.

Well I'm preggy at the mo and if it's a girl I'll get her ears pierced at around 3 months. If it's a boy I'm not too sure.
Maybe...... (but if I was to do it, it would be both ears)
