Thanks K.....any help will be gratefully received....

To rub my nose in it, I subscribed to a baby website - the type that tells you daily what is going on with you and you baby.

I logged in today and it says "congratulations on your 1-week-old"...

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Lady Vee,  you may need to go to 'smiths to stock up on early readers and maths activities.  You may also want to look at some sites about SATS revision for year 6.  At this rate, smudge will be taking them  from the womb...!!

If it makes you feel any better (which it probably won't!)  elephants have a gestation eriod of two years!

You are set to have a capricorn and once they get into a comfort zone they are very hard to shift (my sis is 33 with a 3 year old and still at home!!)  plus they are very stubborn (and spiteful!!!)  Probably your best bet right now is just to annoy the baby out.  Make your insides a less comfortable spot for smudge to set up home.  Jiggle about a bit (if you can)  Anything that will annoy the baby without causing damage.

LD,

Me cyan tek dem peppers....especially dem scotch bonnets!!!

As I said, we've tried the "invading Smudge's space;)" method.....to no avail.

MB,

Well, thanks for the words of comfort (!). However, I may try the annoy factor - I've tried everything else.

Oh, by the way, the ante-natal appointment was today, so I missed it! I'm so used to going on a Thursday I assumed the 11th was!!

I hope they see me tomorrow.....

@LadyVee: I'm holding hands and saying some serious prayers for this little one to come on. The others are asleep but trust they'll be on the case with me tomorrow ;).

I'm now booked in to be induced on Tuesday, 17th, but Smudge may come before then as I'm 2cm dilated....yippee!!! She even felt the head (!)

Smudge has moved from my right side to my left, and the head is engaged.

Also, he's going to be around 8lb......

Here's hoping by weekend it'll be here.....

Athaba,

No, not having the baby now....just having a well-earned nap!

Yankee,

Someone told me that the 14th was lucky as there's a new moon in my sign that day, so maybe then...

LD,

2cms may seem like nothing, but it's taken him 9 days to get there! I'm hoping that the next stage will be a little quicker.

Hubby took MB's advice and tried to annoy Baby out, so maybe that worked....

MB,

I want the baby born on the 17th if possible, so all my kids birthdays are consecutive.

No sign of Lady Vee... woo hoo!

@Lady Day.. I am cusp with Sagitarius/Capricorn and seem to have gotten the worse traits of both.   January Caps are more patient, methinks.
