URGENT BNV UPGRADE IMMINENT PLEASE READ.
As previously advised BNV will be undergoing some major changes to correct some of the gliches that we have been experiencing for a while now on both sites and also to update and improve the quality of BNVillage.
The Management naturally apologise for the prolonged delay in implementing these planned changes, unfortunately some of the technical issues have taken longer than expected to resolve... However these frustrating issue appeared to have been overcome and BNV is now able to roll out the FIRST stage of the NEW BNVillage upgrade...
The plan....
Villagers please note that in order to implement the up grades BNV will need to go off line for approx 24hrs.
Because of the increase in automated spamming of late, unfortunately it is necessary make the switch over at short notice. I have therefore directed BNV Admin to roll out these changes as soon as possible. it is likely therefore that BNV will go offline anytime from Monday 18th June onwards. we naturally try to give some notice before this happens if possible, but please bare with us if it is not possible to do so..
Once the switch over occurs...there will only be ONE active site, that is BNvillage.co.uk (the current grey village). Blackchat.co.uk (the Black village) will from this point onwards become READ ONLY...
The format ,colour and functions of the new Village WILL CHANGE, We regret that it has not been able to consult more on the format and style of the NEW Village, but we needed to make the change now for security reasons...
It is important for villagers to please update any personal information and details in their account ASAP, so that this can be migrated accurately to the New Village.
The switch over to the New Village is merely the 1st stage of the upgrade, BNV Admin plan a series of continuous upgrades to improve the village and to add new features... Please continue to contribute all the GOOD ideas as you have suggested thus far on this thead.http://www.bnvillage.co.uk/forum9/27916.html and I will continue to work closely with BNV Admin to ensure that all your ideas are incoperated into the new Village as far as is possible.
