In the pages of her new autobiography Grace Will Lead Me Home, Robin Givens details how she was raped by her then-husband, boxer Mike Tyson, during a 1988 trip to Russia. In an excerpt provided by the New York Daily News, the actress writes, she was awoken by a drunken Tyson who “climbed on top of me . . . and grabbed me by my throat.� Givens said she attempted to reach for a phone and yelled for him to stop, but he “pinned my hands above my head . . . He pulled my pajama pants down . . . I begged him to stop as he undid his pants and began to shove himself in me.�
According to Givens, who was married to the former heavyweight champion from 1988 to 1989, Tyson then began tearing up the hotel and ended up hanging by one arm from a railing 18 stories above the lobby. All of this, Givens writes, took place 48 hours before the couple’s infamous interview with Barbara Walters, when the Head of the Class star revealed that Tyson was physically abusive and bi-polar.
In other Mike Tyson news, the former boxer was apparently bitten by the Bollywood bug after filming a music video in Las Vegas for the new Indian comedy Fool n Final, about a diamond heist. The Times of India reported Monday that Iron Mike now wants to star in an actual Bollywood film. He said in an interview that Firoz Nadiadwala, producer of Fool n Final, had approached him with a script. "Firoz has discussed a movie with me," the newspaper quoted Tyson as saying. "We seriously intend to work toward it," he said, without disclosing any details.

i don't wear make up so maybe i am out of that particular loop, but what's with the green eye shadow it doesn't suit her.

i don't thnk anyones ever called me "girly" before, my mother would be shocked lol
but seriously, these claims, whether true or not, are not new. I am sure she has said it before. I don't know either of them personally, and except for the fact she is putting her business out there, i feel it is nothing to do with me.
But if i had to come down on one side or the other, i would say it's probably true. what i don't understand is why it is being dredged up now, unless it is just a small part of her biography that others are choosing to highlight.
i suppose one could argue that she could have chosen to leave it out and she only included it knowing i would sell it, but it is her biography and it is up to her to represent the facts of her own life. Her marriage to tyson is a part of that and it would not be a true reflection of her life if she left him out of it.

I was thinking the same thing@ MB. Robin is loving the green eyeshadow, looks like MAC?!LOL . It might be true the claims he raped her but then I have heard stories about her, bleeding him dry moving her mother in with them as they both saw a meal ticket. And how she would give him medicaton drugs to confuse him?? Dont know how true it is though a work colleague told me all this!lol.
Robin Givens will always be Jaqueline from Boomerang to me. Love that film have seen it bere times

I'm not saying that Mike Tyson didn't have his hang ups( who can forget about that time thathe bit Evander Holyfield's ear off?), and we may never know what is /isn't true about Robin Givens. If she was raped by Mike Tyson, that's an unfortunate incident that should have happened to her, but she's barely believeable in her own right. She was proven to be a golddigger, and she and her mom even went as far to put down Black men.

Well Le Moor, it is the only way the book will sell more than 2 copies, with this sensational bit of marketing she may well be onto a semi-good-seller. So that is why she put the business of rape in there.
I dont doubt that the man had issues but I doubt if her version of events is 100% acurate. Why wait 20 years to bring it up????
P.S the eye shadow looks like crap.
