| Complain for what?? what are you gonna complain about?.... I personally don't think its staged emily thought she was cool for saying that and even though Charley is a fool for letting it slide the way she did you could tell she was shocked and uncomfortable around emily....her body language said it all....shes used to arguing over minor issues but when you throw something like that at her you take her out of her comfort zone and she couldn't handle it.....You gotta remember our generation didn't grow up hearing those words like you guys did in my mums and grandma's generation.....

The whole reaction was quite strange, Charley almost became protective of her at first.... , but you cantell it bothered her afterwards.

Missed all of this last night I just knew it would play out as you have all described.
If you all believe that the Emily part is staged - as i do - why do you think channel 4 would stop there?
Hmmmm, And African Man in African clothing sitting there ageeing with usage of the N word - SINCE WHEN!? Since they payed him maybe! Bet those clothes were paid for by channel 4 too!
And why do people keep saying that we use the word amongst ourselves? They need to speak for themselves or say what they mean, its in rap music, not in the community - damn cheek!

There has officially been 1000 complaints in protest against the girls eviction...WTF.......!!!!!

So there it is. The girl is mixed race and has now confirmed that herself, just like some people said she might be all along. Can't say i'm surprised, saw the signs right there.
Think the only ones who need to "hush" now are those who kept insisting, without knowing for sure, that she was black. Mentioned it before, that sometimes 'looks' can be deceiving and especially when things seem so ambiguous as they clearly did with this girl, you can't be so sure.
That's when people should try looking beneath the surface a bit more. Only have to listen to how she speaks and acts to realise she is heavily ingrained with a white mentality, and that key aspects of her, and her overall appearance may be from a white parent. Now we know.

I'm sick to death of black people like this and quite frankly I wish we could use a law where we could put them in the bathrooms of white peoples homes and they could literally wipe the azz of white people with their hands after they are done taking sh*ts. What's worse is that you see and meet WHITE PEOPLE who have more damn common sense and totally object to the use of the word themselves in any way shape or form. This black girl in work yesterday was talking about how "well I need to see the show and see how she used it first, cause I don't wanna judge her like that" , and this white guy was like "Yeah but it's not acceptable in any way shape or form, it's just not tolerated no matter how she said it" ... the same black girl was talking to me earlier about how when she gets on a bus, nobody sits next to her because she's black  .. GRRR ! I love ma people to death but I seriously only give my time to blacks who can consciously and have a mental positive attitude to our sufferings and flaws and want to better ourselves. Less that 100 years ago, black men and women were being LYNCHED on a tree with that N word enscribed on the same fukkin tree , and we use that word ????????????????????????????? I make sure and very clear in my work place that I DO NOT use that word

Come on soulstarr, this is the same girl who was saying jade goody is a black woman and how she represents us. We all know lil' soulful1 has her issues when it comes to using the black race as a dumping ground for anyone with a drop of black blood in them. She must be mixed herself and doesnt like to be told she isnt black because duh she MIXED. Black means you have 2 BLACK parents...Thats why its an issue because its an issue for her. Someone was just stating a fact like someone said Charley stated her mum is infact white like most people suspected.

Its disappointing but you have to understand that you're level of consciousness is a gift.
I actually felt for Charley. She is just a 'girl next door' living her life how she feels fit. She was shocked you could see that. So she wasnt equipped to deal with it, with the sort of dignity and maturity that it deserved, but it shouldnt override the fact that she should have never had to indure that type of incident in the first place. Also doesnt make her a sell-out either. Lets reserve the rest of her behaviour for that, but not for being unable to handle that level of ignorance. Within time as she gets older and wiser she may learn to compose herself a lot better, we dont know.
On the issue of Emily being a plant, maybe, however there are plenty of surburbian middle class kids like her who percieve our culture with the same ignorance. And they most certainly do not say it in front of black people or even have any black friends for that matter. I give my people a lot more credit than that. How many times have i heard us acknowledge that its these type of kids that buy your 50 Cents type tunes in their droves. So there shouldnt really be any surprises.
