Yes maat, the harder the better...lol. Biology, Energy, Sunrise all of them with Fabio, Grooverider, Mickey Finn etc. In the beginning it was about listening to the car radio for the next meeting point on route to the illegal venue. A proper adventure and real utopia at some of those raves.

@Le Moor: LOL talk about blast from the past. I recognize some of those names. Did you ever go to the Orange club up Holloway Road or Astoria up west? One place I never got to go to but heard a lot about was Raindance. I heard those raves were good though funfair rides and everything!!
I'd play some tunes but don't know what half of them were called or who made them LOL another fast one one comes to mind where it used to have "this sound is for the underground" and is it "shine on" not much lyrics but do they ring a bell ?

Never went Orange club, but had been Astoria before. I remember one time in there being next to Nigel Benn and his crew. Dont think i ever went to a Raindance, but yeah they got very commercial with with all the fairground stuff etc.
Not sure about the first tune, but found 'shine on'. Another anthem type tune. This is the original but i know there was a faster, Garage version later.

HA! HA! Yes that's the one It's so weird hearing them as an old bag LOL and were one of the thousands who had the white Reebok ERS with the purple and turqouise. EVERYONE had those on maaan - me too. Don't know what it was about those trainers.
