Meaning if you choose to ignore whats around you, (ie many Black children feeling unnattractive) then thats on you.........burying your head in the sand is a figure of speech, its not literal....lol
If you know that its our responsibility to make sure our children dont feel negatively about their features.........what is your point in acting as if you have a problem with that assertion, because that has been what I have said since the beginning, but you took issue with it......now you say you know it to be true.
As far as me saying all children.......you may want to look over my posts I clearly used the word MANY.....that is different from saying ALL.....again reading comprehension.

Yep, misunderstandings go a long way. Like when I divorced the ex, it's amazing how many people including her only saw the other woman as the cause and go about building their entire case from that basis.

whatever Chi, and as for Incognito its a shame that you couldn't stay married, poor hubby. I am happily married and this is my first and will remain that way till death. I only pit men like you who couldn't stay marry and perpetuate it by invalidation of the partner when it obviously takes two to make a marriage work. its remains me of my college experience
I dated this Russian boy named Jimmy. Funny thing, because although I was his girlfriend, we were at different places in our lives, not to mention that he has a serious hygene problem, stink breath like you wouldn't believe.
Well, during our short time together, he begged me to stay with him, and there was no way I could do that considering the rules of the dormitory and returned to my own room, although I ran away, he held it against me. I apologised the next day, and oh my he told me to go: funny because I never loved him only was with him for a scope of a couple of weeks.
To think, he disowned me for NOT staying with him that ONE night. A real man would have thought that was the respectable thing to do, because girls couldn't sleep in dormitories with their lovers. Perhaps, he was upset for not even scoring only spewing it seed due to a lack of control.
Yet in still, he went on about being love with me; taking care of me, forbid me to walk out of his room... that made me very scare, so I unlocked the door and ran all the way back to my room.
After my boy Doc told me that I shattered him by not staying that ONE night, I tried my best to make up for it. Since he refused to hear anything from me or lay eyes on me again. I moved on.... 
Hopefully now, the boy has become a man. I only pray that he is happy with his wife as I am with my husband DAVID and learn forgiveness or else remain bend on losing every percious diamond that's place in his path.
Enjoy, now if you excuse me, I must prepare dinner for my KING

No. 1, I was not attacking you, nor was I attacking what you had to say, but unfortunately for you, you decided that chi was non-black, and that took away from your argument a little, especially since most people in the village know that she is Igbo, and therefore nigerian (from africa) and therefore black.
No. 2, White people are always changing themselves to be different to what they are, and they have emotional issues, granted, but that does not concern us as african people. What concerns us is what young black girls are feeling. It is true that many black girls feel that they are not beautiful, I'm 17, and many of my friends feel that they are not. The only reason that I am not among them is because I had been taught at an early age that I am beautiful, and that black is beautiful, whereas they have been relaxing their hair since they were 2, their mothers have all different kinds of weaves in their hair 24/7. Some girls are darker than others, and they are the ones who suffer most, people call them "blick" and say that they look horrible. We still have that defeatist mentality, and it is extremely rife in the young. The lighter blacks differentiate themselves from the darker blacks, the relaxed haired black girls differentiate themselves from the natural hair blacks. Everybody relaxes their hair because they "can't be bothered" to deal with our natural hair. Yes, white people have these problems to, but they DO NOT let them affect their race as much as black people do, and if you don't believe me, spend a weekend with a group of young black girls, and ask them all these questions and I guarantee you that you will get the same answers. This situation has absolutely nothing to do with being evil, there is no point putting your head in the sand and not seeing reality, while sprouting the odds. This is the reality, and things really need to change, for the younger generation after mine, because unfortunately, mine already has the defeatist mentality.
