Thught it was typical hateration joke business myself. Heard worse from sisters though.
beyonce is possibly the most hated entertainer on earth, and since I knew about all that stuff, pprobably the mosted hated in my lifetime

| I have always thought britney has had it the worst in relation to ridicule and mud-slinging out of all the young famous female singers. Sure she made some bad decisions but she's young and not educated so gets more sh*t than she deserves in my eyes. Also Ashanti was ruined by haterism. I don't think most people really hate Beyonce I think that she is just a bit over-exposed. If she keeps out of the public eye for a bit people will be cool. Whilst she is definately a victim of tall poppy syndrome, I don't think she has had it that tough. She is obviously extremely talented, beautiful and I love loads of her stuff but I can't deny that she comes across as slightly false and irratating sometimes. I have said this before on other threads so I'm not going to change my tune now. Also I don't see the point in feeling offended on her behalf, every celeb, once they get to a certain status, has whole websites dedicated to slagging them off, can't see why people devote so much time to hating to be honest, but I don't think she's singled out. I'll give you Britney but I was kinda thinking black entertainers.

In the Hateration Games I think Beyonce pips her just.Mariah Carey also desreves a mention but she brought alot of the beef on herself with racial ambiguity. Then again the same can be said for Beyonce which would by default leave Ashanti as the most hated. I'm confusing myself. lol

| I don't think Beyonce's the most hated celebrity. Maybe amongst black people but overall, Britney Spears has taken a lot of heat. Even at the start of her career, she had everyone on her back. But it does seem like black female celebrities and their weaves are starting to get to white people.

I haven't come across any black women who have hated Beyonce. In fact the black women who i have discussed her with in the past have had mostly good things to say about her. This is the first that i am hearing about her being disliked by a lot of black women here.
I like Beyonce i always have done.
At first i thought that lady in that video was being plain b**chy but then i watched it again and i could see the funny side but now i have gone back to being not quite sure what to make of it.
I watched Beyonce's latest video and it was ok it was just the scenes on the table that was maybe a little eye brow raising the rest of it was completely fine.
I remember when she sang about those Nasty Girls complaining about low standards in women.

Ashanti was superhated on at first lol, fifty dissed her sideburns which opened the floodgates. The worst was when she won a soul award and people signed petitions protesting and burning effigys of Ashanti. However that was temporary and people left her to do her thing.
Beyonce? uh uh lol... in terms of black female celebs nobody else is as disliked as she is.
Celebs in general? nah... she isn't as hated as OJ, MJ, RKelly, Mariah, fiftycents, SugeKnight, DixieChicks, Roseanne Barr and the number one most hated personality.... George Bush!

thank you, I was thinking the same thing myself. Be honest, how do you rate Beyonce as a solo artist? she was brilliant with Destiny's Child, all their songs that were released were and still are brilliant and catchy tunes.
Beyonce as a solo artist? nah man! it just ain't working! whatever tracks she's released, im just not feeling it what so ever! I make the mistake of buying her first album 'dangerously in love', absolute CRAP!!!...in my opinion.

| Ashanti just got PURE hate. It was just wrong. That girl is GOOD, Ashanti in my eyes is talented and I loved her songs and albums and I bought all three of her albums too. Ashanti was getting mad heat with 50CENT burning down Murder INC, and then Beyonce just came along and took Ashantis spot light. I personally prefer Ashanti over Beyonce.. Ashanti is more hood, and down to earth with her music, and Ashanti is better musically. Beyonce is the R'N'B IT girl of the moment, but to me her music ain't r'n'b and she's not really keeping it real. I wanna know who the next Sista is that's gonna be the new IT girl.

OK I agree with you, She isn't hood. I agree, what I meant was her music. Her music is more down. I love Ashanti and I don't think she deserved that Hate at all. She was doing her thing and was more up and coming. I hope Ashanti comes back out soon though

What has this got to do with what the woman looks like? If Claudia Schiffer was making the same jokes about Beyonce's dance moves then would she have a point 'cause she looks better? For me Beyonce used to really annoy me I really don't know why she just did. Perhaps it was her excssive presence and stage preformance? However I have changed my opinion of her, in some way I can see why she plays with the market and the media as she wants the money. On the other hand what is the cost of her doing this?
Still for me there is something about beyonce that is cheesy or cringe worthy?
Looking back at Ashanti she was also talented and very preety and could carry a riddim. Her second Album was really good i luv that album, plus her first was unique at the time, some classic tracks on that one if u ask me. I think the hate stems from the fact that she is a good looking black girl with fake hair that looks real, and back in the day nuff manz wanted to bang her. Many black girls hate on that. In Jamaica all da manz dem luv off ashanti...
