Day -3, 13:45
It's been nine long months since Anthony the dancing Geordie bopped his way to victory on a steamy summer night.
Nine months without crazy tasks, tense evictions and endless sunbathing. But the waiting is finally over... Big Brother is back, and it's bigger than ever.
A brand new set of housemates will move into a transformed Big Brother House and viewers will be able to watch their every move on Channel 4, E4 and on the Big Brother website.
As always, the unsuspecting group have no idea what Big Brother has in store for them this year. But there are sure to be some surprises up Big Brother's sleeve in the longest and most "twisted" series yet. This year's House is smaller than ever and Big Brother has already hinted at a summer of mischievousness by swapping inside for outside with the decor.
The identity of the housemates will be kept top secret until launch night, but one thing is certain: they'll face eviction every week. As ever, their fate will be decided by the viewers. All eviction votes cost 50p and this year a percentage (10p) will be divided between three charities: Shelter, Teenage Cancer Trust and a third chosen by the series winner.
Big Brother's Little Brother and Big Brother's Big Mouth are joined this year by Big Brother's Big Brain: a brand new live psychology show presented by Dermot. Meanwhile, the Big Brother website's newsroom will be working around the clock to keep fans up-to-date on all events in the House. We'll also be offering email updates, chat forums, free video clips and live 24-hour streaming. We do like to spoil you!
Anyone gonna watch the launch on C4 tomorow night? (9pm) I think I will just for a laugh - the contestants seem to get stranger every year. Last years was great though, I reckon they should bring back science! But i bet they wont put as many Black/asians or any 'ethnic minorities' in the house this year because of everything that happened last time.

I watch big brother and yes it is addictive viewing you just cant escape it. There will be a few characters on it that i will enjoy watching esp if there is a black contestant.
Im not a compulsive watcher though i will watch the highlights and the evictions all the rest will be splashed in the papers the next day and on the news on tv.
BB is hard to run away from and watching people sleep puts me to sleep .

Big Brother is one of those things that i just LOVE to HATE lmao!
Sitting there and watching a bunch of ingnoramouses riping eachother to shreds for their 3 minutes of fame is great entertainment as far as I'm concerned!
I wonder how many tokens will be present in this years line up  ... wagers anyone?

Yeah id like to see a blackman and woman thats a good balance . I think that BB is gonna be extra carefull this year though after Makosi and victor but i dont want them to be too tame we need a black person that can stand up for themselves like Science.
But this year there looking for more sexual antics . But i in particular dont want to see any gay blacks . not that ive nothing againt them. and i dont want to see another black sis degrading herself just to fit in .
