just beacuse there isnt anyone on this thread attacting muslim women, doesnt mean it doesnt happpen, i am sure in your life time you have seen the streotypes of muslim women, how they are treated and how they are oppressed so dont come at me with i am attacting western women beacuse thats not what i am doing. i am just trying to make a point here. and if you dont or dont want to understand my point they that U.
More and more I’ve been subjected to the stereotype. And, well, I can’t blame them. Based on what people may see, no matter where they live, the idea isn’t so far-fetched. Things like, “Wait…you’re a virgin/you don’t really date? But you’re American or british!� has become common. Is it fair? No, because obviously not every Western woman is a “slut�. But the fact that 95% of
Americans have sex before marriage and based on our culture and the idea we’ve come up with that free women sometimes equals exploited and disrespected objects certainly makes the stereotype understandable.
