POST OF THE DAY

Mezmerized wrote: I can see why everyone is pissed off, perhaps a more legitimate question should/would be whether us young Africans(Continental and Diaspora) will not follow in our parents' footstep and be done with European names once and for all.

This issue should be FIRST rectafied in the Continental Africans' community....because as Chi said, we have NO excuse or business calling oursleves with European names. However, for the Diaspora Africans, their African names were TAKEN away from them....so nocking them off whilsts we the people who's names were never forcibly taken are still parading ourselves in our so called "Christian, Muslim" names....soon enough there is gone be black people walking around with Asian names because they are Biddhists...

YankeeJamaRican, sis it DOES matter what one calls themselves in OUR predicament. It doesn't make sense to say that a Susan can be more Afrocentric than a Makosi(i find the use of Makosi here a little well out of line because of what that woman did, if its not your intentions, i apologise)

I don't see any other race on earth not caring much what they call their childrens so long as their children know themselves. Names connect a people, it connect one to not just their history, but it does bring a sense of belonging thats important. As i said before, i am not in anyway agreeing with the tone of this thread, but it still does not mean that in our moment of anger(which i completely understand because i did not like the thread from the begining, thats why i kept away from it to start off with) we should go all out and just sayd sod it, i doens't matter what we are called.

If names was not that important, Europeans and Arabs wouldn't have been so quick to forcibly take it away from us the moment we came into contact with them. It has power....thats why it was one of the first thing the oppressors took away, it disconnected us from our land and finally as a people.....although thank God they have not succeeded as they thought they would.

Vubundada_Kandaba wrote: Due to slavery and the history of the diaspora, I understand why they still carry these names. On my part the Caribbean people I met have varying names. Some have European names and Some have African names and some that I encountered are more African then most Africans, even to the extend where they have rejected Christinianty and embraced African Religions. I have some Caribbean friends who practice African religions and they freaked me out the first time I met them with the religion and stuff. They were even very hard on continental Africans that carry European names and questioned us why we still go to church and stuff.

I believe that with time Diasporans will slowly reject European names, but it will take time. It is better to choose an African name where the person carrying the name knows its meaning and where the name originates from. So, one step at time and we will get there. For continental Africans it is essential we start using our African names, and the process should begin with our children. As I have mentioned before, it is ok for us continentals who have one foreign name that was given for religious purposes but the other two last names should be all African and when we have kids they should have all three African names and no Peter or Abdullah.

So people please take it easy here and don't let this topic ruin your day. Mine is an attempt to bring unity to the house.

Ain't no way you're shutting up a group of sistas that easily! How come they were portrayed as mouthy and ignorant one minute then the next they're all quiet and submissive before he even began his little tirade? In real life if he asked them about their marital status they would have just told him to mind his own beeswax.

Plus I don't know any African woman that would just let their child be around a woman they no absolutely nothing about, especially a cracker. But hear the white woman nuh: "You want me to go get her for you?" ROTFLMAOOOOO!! If me and my wife had divorced and a white woman ever came to the house asking to pick our daughter up (not that it would ever happen in a million years) my missus woulda knock the wretch back to the caves of europe.

So what if he paid for this and that? As a husband and father he's supposed to be a provider it ain't nothing to seek brownie points for.

The lack of realism alone makes this video hilarious. It's too bad some 'brothas' on other forums are applauding this rubbish (much like the 'sistas' who bigged up the movie Something New) instead of seeing it for what it is. Some people wouldn't know an agenda if it came towards them in the form of volcanic lava.

POST OF THE DAY

Peacemaker in green

Being English and black, I have come to realise why many minorities tend to be disadvantaged.

Becareful with your use of the word minority.  There's nothing "minor" about my existence nor anyone elses in truth.

If someone of another race refers to you as a minority then they, could mean that they think you're not that relevant or of a lesser importance. Words have power, and minor is not a flattering word. Interesting that you refer to yourself as such.

The Japanese have it right to a certain degree. They just call people foreigners.

It's because of the obsession with ancestry.

Nope. The answer to that is quite simple. Things that limit your conscious range holds people back.

I would say that people with an interest in ancestry have more interesting things in their minds to work with. Anybody that can think of anything beyond their immediate environment has potential at least, especially in the area of being broad minded.

Being English and black wasn't the sole reason you came to your conclusion.

If you're born into a household with no books at all, then you're quite literally disadvantaged from the start. Your starting interests in the world will be limited, especially if not encouraged, race has nothing to do with it. However it's made to seem that way by various elements in society, but that's for a different purpose, an altogether negative one...the word minor plays apart in that too.

Trying to have a separate culture to the rest of britain is ridiculous

Tantamount to saying that thinking differently than the people in your local environment ridiculous. Britian does tend to breed that alienating attitute in people unwittingly.

Monkey see monkey do.

They're three types of people.

1, Those who influence their environment.

2, Those are influenced by their environment.

3, and those who remain static in their enviroment.

You're hovering between number 2 and number 3.

Where you live now is what matters.

What you're doing now matters more. You think contrary to that because you're a number 2/3 type person.

I have relatives in Jamaica and (I assume) Africa, but I don't really care.

No sh*t, caring would expand your horizons somewhat....so much so you wouldn't think the following.

England is great

No it isn't. Great people make a place great.  Prison is bad because they're host to bad people.

and I don't feel the need to keep thinking about the past. Refusing to move forward holds people back.

Naturally. Better to move forward with a purpose in mind.

"Fitting in", in England isn't the greatest way to move forward, nor much of a purpose.

Yet another case of us caring what the White man thinks.

This is supposed to be a place where Black folk can talk freely amongst their peers without the need for constant censorship, which we have to do in real life.

Funnily enough I do find it weird that we refer to White people with those terms, but Asians are referred to as just that - Asians.

Think of it like this..

Think of as many derrogatory terms for a black person.. the list is endless  but try the same for a white person..bluefoot? Well I wouldn't even include that because the connotations are exclusive to members on here and its implications are not as destructive say as being called a 'N****r' ; so there aren't as many terms, associations opportunites to be truely racist towards them, whereas every derrogatory term used against a black person is not just a mere case of 'hurt feelings' ,but it can effect one's life chance, perception, job opportunites, hell try walking down the road with such a term blazoned across your back, it is highly unlikely a white person can or will experience this.

POST OF THE DAY

Shemsi en Tehuti wrote:

Hello K...I think Dr. Amos Wilson touched on it when he stated that to control our children, we must control the consequences of their actions.  We have no control over our children's consequences in the West.  The West only promotes individualism and greed, which totally destroys the community structure fundamental to most traditional African families.  I can remember growing up where if you were acting up in school or on the block, your neighbor would put it to your butt (in some not too ghetto areas).  Then your aunt, grandmother, uncle, or whoever put it to you.  You might have received 3 or 4 woopings before your mama got home, and then she didn't even have to do anything (but of course she put it to your butt anyway).  Nowadays, "don't touch my child, or I'll sue your a*s!"  When my parents were growing up, the community structure was far more cohesive where people actually looked out for each other.

Now, we have everyone pursuing only their own interests which has destroyed the African family in my opinion.  It was absolutely unspeakable to sell drugs to your own family members just 30 or 40 years ago.  It is increasingly common now.  I remember in junior high school people getting jacked for their Triple Fat Goose (down-filled coat) and Timberland boots in the middle of the winter just because they looked new and another brother wanted to sport them.  There are countless effects I could mention, but when you have this going on while immersing Africans in the poverty level (or just above), you can only expect to yield menaces to society and generations of traducers to the African race.

ADVICE OF THE DAY

EF MAX wrote: If you are really keen to move on, then you need to consider the differences between a climax and an ejaculation. The two are not the same although they appear to happen at the same time.

One is purely neurological and the other physiological. An ejaculation is the physiological side of things, this is way the body literally ejects something from its being [ we all know what this is]. The climax is a pure neurological event that gets linked to the ejaculation and the two do not have to happen together.

Once a guy understands the difference between the two, then he needs to listen to his body as it approaches both and learn which to control and how.

For 99% of men, the ejaculation and the climax appear to come together, but they don’t. The ejaculation and the physiological side happens first and then [usually in milliseconds] the climax follows.

If a guy can learn when he is approaching a climax and learn to ease off the stimulation that usually is needed to take him to the last step, then it is possible to have an ejaculation but delay the climax. This takes time and lots of solo sex to fully understand your body.

Once mastered and this may take months rather than a few sessions, then it is possible to have several small [almost dribble like] ejaculations and then when ready or if no more will power or stamina, have your final climax.

Do be aware though, this can lead to intercourse sessions lasting for several hours [if you are fit enough] and although each of those ejaculations provide lubrication for the woman [assuming all other methods of birth control and safe sex are catered for and covered – ie long term relationship], the average woman will still get a little sore from this amount of friction.

Be also aware that on many occasions, you may have so many small ejaculations that you just have not got the physical strength to reach your own climax.. its all about practice and good knowledge. There is also many occasions whereby your body gets use to this behaviour and thus cause erection problems whereby the blood flow to the penis is not as strong as normal..

Other things to consider is that men have cycles,, where the body produces much more testosterone at certain stages of the month and also the day [mornings being a typical favorite],, get to know your cycle because when its low there is not much you can do about it.

As been said,, more regular sex keeps you in shape, in touch, and low on sperm all of which will aid towards delaying a climax.. Solo sex can help here as well.

Circumcision as an adult [I know cos I had mine done at 43] is painful.. no it is seriously painful in recovery.. it does seriously reduce the sensitivity, but it can and often does improve the blood flow and as such this increases the length marginally [about 10-15mm in length and about the same in girth].. that lack of sensation is a pain but the areas of sensitivity move along the penis to a slightly lower area. This in itself gives a new pleasure and an added dimension.

My last major partner was in a position to be able to talk about sex with me, who she had been sleeping with for over a year before the circumcision and about another year afterwards.. we have smiled about this to ourselves.

At the end of the day, confidence and trust in both yourself and your partner can make an amazing difference to many things in the bedroom..

POST OF THE DAY

babygirl44 wrote:in the Two 7 Year Olds Cast as Monkeys thread:
Sorry but the mother DID NOT overreact at all and if I was the childs mother I would take them out of the school because there must of been many low-key racist acts commited against these kids but they were too young to understand. However, the teachers went too far this time and got caught.

This incident is probably the tip of the iceberg.  If your child is the only black kid in the school, you must watch and monitor it like a hawk.  I suffered from being only one of a handful black kids at my primary school.  Some of the teachers were properly racist but because I had no proof I couldn't do anything.  I was a higher than average reader, in fact top of my class when I was bout 7/8.

I was put in a special reading group for high-level readers by my class teacher.  The other teacher who was running the club dashed me out after 2 weeks because she said that I couldn't read well enough to be in the special group and wanted to put me back in the lower class although I was being held back by the other kids. She had taped us reading aloud, but the tape she played that was supposed to be of me reading badly was actually of a white girl called Kelly.  The other kids stood up for me saying it was Kelly on the tape, even Kelly admitted to this but the teacher removed me and I KNOW it was because it sickened her to see a black pupil excelling. My dad couldn't bring himself to believe that they would do this to me so didn't do anything about it (anyway I ended up being only one of a handful of pupils of that year that went on to University, so she didn't win).

Futhermore, although some Afro-carib boys are bad, much of the reason why they don't take enough interest in school is because the school doesn't take any interest at all in their progress and even (as in my case) goes out their way to hinder it.  Look at what that mampie bluefoot did to that balck child in Derby by writing the word black-bas**rd on her forehead, how many times do you think that child suffered before the carer went too far and got caught out?

Finally basic mathematics tells me that these kids were discriminated against. If there are only 2 black kids out of a year of 100, that would mean that 100% of the black kids got picked to be a monkey when (if the names had been picked randomly) they should have only had a 2% chance of being cast as a monkey. That doesn't sound random at all, in fact even the worst gambler wouldn't have put money on those odds.

POST OF THE DAY

Backatya wrote: No matter where I go in London or what I do I get problems when I am with my fiancee. I am black and so is she. In all my years I never dreamt I would date a black woman as I had always considered it a betrayal to my slave heritage not to go with white. But then it happened. I met this black girl and now we are getting married but those interracial couples give me dirty looks and treat me differently and break their necks off to see what she looks like.

I can't help who I have fallen in love with and will not apologise for it. I know where I am from, my history, my roots! I'm proud to have been a slave and have the white man as my master, but I don’t see how dating someone of my own race has to change that.
No matter what I do in London its a problem! However as soon as I am around other black couples no one bats an eyelid.

I know you interracial daters out there probably think I deserve my persecution. I have been called a ‘traitor’, a ‘sell-out’ and been accused of being ‘proud’ of my race. Those insults are simply not true. I know what the white man has done for me and just because I chose to date within my race does not mean I have forgotten that.

I have dated interracially before but all the white woman I date just didn’t seem to respect me or treat me right. It is a different story however when they date within their race. Then they treat their man like kings, yet have the audacity to have a go at me for dating within my race? How come it’s alright for them and not for me? That’s just double standards in my mind. If white women are going to go with white men, what are we black guys to do?...Stay single?......Whither and die? We need loving too.

Well this man says that us black men have to stop this hanging around waiting for white women while they go off dating their white men. It is misguided loyalty. Why should we be left by ourselves while they freely go dating within their race?

I say it is time to give as good as we get. If same-race dating is good enough for them why not us? Besides none of the white women I have been with have treated me half as well as black women. Black women know how to treat a man. I am not putting white woman down but I am just telling it like it is.
Too many black men are brainwashed into thinking that a white woman is the only one for them while their white women are out there dating within their own race. These men are ‘restricting’ themselves. They are not ‘enlightened’ enough to realise the benefits of same-race dating.

Anyway, I am just so sick of all this starring and abusive comments and wish the interracial daters would stop treating me like some freak.

Are there any black men who have dated or are dating within their race who experience the same treatment as me?

I know this subject has been covered 1,000,000 times before but the message just doesn't seem to be getting through.
"There is nothing wrong with dating within your own race and it is simply no body else's business."......and just because I chose to spread the details of my dating habits on a public forum discussion board, does not make it your business.

An_Advanced_Spark wrote: Mansamusa, Yeah I agree with you especially of the economics of the industry is not even benefiting those it is made for but it can be difficuly when its rammed down your throat. Take the magazine Pride for example, is a contradictory magazine in itself because its articles try and promote 'uplifting articles' (*cough*) but its adverts promotes nothing but hair relaxers, although this is much to do with the magazine's finances and that other companies do not want to advertise in their magazine, due to its disregard of the black pound it is still an issue.

Now while I don't particularly see hair relaxer as a form of self -hatred any more than I see natural hair as a form of conciousness, I do however, have issue with focus of good hair/bad hair, 'picky hair' 'straight hair 'good hair is white hair', this does need to stop mainly within our community although reinforced by these outside influences.

As much as I hate to admit this there was a woman in the documentary who had a point that black people are not united when it comes to money and this is a problem unlike other communities. Boycotting, and re routing money so it benefits are own communities may not be ideal but its a dman sight better that somebody else getting our money.  I do believe that this lack of unitedness is down to the tragedy of slavery and that the environment of community broke down because of this hence, this focus on so called 'good hair' and wanting to be like 'massa'.

I wonder at times if slavery had never existed would this have been a problem? Probably not

HatHaruhotep wrote: We are the only ones who suffered this particular program of genocide, slavery, menticide, brainwashing, and severe violence.  The fact that Europeans have abused other Europeans does not mean that these subjugated whites somehow share a kindredness with us or even that their history is the same as ours.

Those subjugated whites were given the opportunity to leave their wretched homelands and come to the United States where they joined with other whites in the genocide against Native Americans.  The Irish benefitted tremendously from slavery as well.  To this day, some of the most racist people in America are crackers with Irish ancestry.  The Kennedys were racist too.  John Kennedy authorized wire taps against MLk and all kinds of trumped up searches and surveillance.

Black folks need to stop FOCUSING ON OTHER RACES and pay attention to what is going on in our own communities.  The fact that the Irish were enslaved does not make them feel a brotherhood with us at all.  They despise us like the rest of the crackers.  One of the main reason we are so despised is because no matter what they do to us or what is happening in our own communities, we always have to be the Black Mammies and run around wailing about the plight of the illegal Mexicans, the Irish, and other crackers who use and murder us on a daily basis.

WE ARE THE ONLY ONES who were dragged across the Atlantic in irons simply because of our RACE.  WE ARE THE ONLY ONES who are the poorest and most full of AIDs no matter what country we live in.  WE ARE THE ONLY ONES who to this day cannot recognize other people of our own race.  We are quick to say Jamaicans or Haitians or Afrikan Americans or Ghanaians are not "part of our culture" because we are so desperately clinging to the falsified identies that were thrust upon ALL AFRIKANS that we can't wake the hell up and realize who we truly are.

POST OF THE DAY

I mean, how was African enslavement a trade?  How did we benefit?  It's pure whiteness that advocates calling it a "trade" to remove European, and perhaps Arab, guilt.

It is my opinion that this is another term that needs to be expunged from our vocabulary along with the N-word; for, it is just as psychologically damaging in my opinion.  From now on, we should refer to this historic tragedy only as

The African Holocaust

The African Muafa

...or something of equivalent severity and denotation.

@gmah White folks watered down Malcolm's image making him acceptable?! LOLL, that is the funniest thing I have heard all day.  Whites disliked him when he was alive, disliked him after he was dead, the only difference is that many have forgotten about him. With all of Malcolm's white devil rhetoric, he earned the title of "black racist" by most whites, and this has never changed. During black history month on TV you will see how the shows about Martin Luther King, various black inventors, rah, rah, rah, but never one word about Malcolm X. The incident that you mentioned with Malcolm x daughter only proves my point. So whats all this talk about whites making Malcolm x acceptable? If blacks who heard Malcolm's message and really listened to what he said and got it, it certainly wasn't by the help or encouragement of whites. .

And I am surprised you are in denial of the fact that the NOI has always had a cloud of suspicion over them after Malcolm's death, especially since they were believed to be getting help from the FBI. And the corruption within the NOI is not unknown.  I agree that Malcolm's popularity of his message increased only after he died, but this is also true with many historical figures. Make a martyr out of them and theyll be remembered forever. I doubt it has to do with the fact that many whites made him more "acceptable," because they certainly haven't as far as I have seen. White american may have   deemed them 'radical,' then again whites disliked Martin Luther King who was a fairly peaceful man. So peaceful or no, if you were fighting for your right then chances are you were going to be the target of hatred for many white americans. Damned if you do, damned if you dont, and I am sure that atleast  some black folks were smart enough to realize this.  So I doubtful of the idea of these many black folks wait for whiteys approval of whether or not to like or dislike a certain black figure.

@Dtothej

I think you are confusing peoples dislike with Farrakan vs peoples dislike of the entire organization. We all know that the NOI has turned peoples lives around no need to tell us this, and beside a few crazy idea the organizations has good basic pricipals, but this does not excuse the fact that this organization has clearly made some bad choices in leadership, nor does it excuse Farrakans corruption, or the fact that he allowed himself to be bribed into not speaking out against atrocities commited against our black brothers. Your whole naivety on the issue and I quote "....I hope that as part of the condition to getting the money that he is doing behind the scenes work to resolve the conflicts" really speaks volumes. LOL!

TAKEN FROM THE EXECELLENT THREAD, WELL LOOK AT MR FARRAKHAN.

Farrakhan and the NOI in general, have a certain level of respect among African Americans because of their WORKS.  Abstract, theoretical talk of revolutions and standing up to whitey is all well and good, but the MOST revolutionary/subversive thing that Black folks can do is get off drugs, not have illegitimate children running around, become self respecting/self suffuicient, maintain stable family units,  etc. Elijah Muhhamad understood this, and that was his brilliance, irrespective of the very real flaws he had. That was and is what the NOI is famous for not only TALKING about, but DOING, and getting other folks who formerly DID NOT conduct their lives that way, to do so.

Most of us have witnessed the way that organization has been able to turn people's lives around. Plenty of us don't subscribe to the whole philosophy, or any of it, for that matter, and would never become members of the organization itself, but their PROGRAM has yielded tangible results in the Black community, that's undeniable.  Safety mentioned that Muslims aren't known for hitting folks over the head with their religion. My experience is the same. You'll notice that many African Americans who are not Muslim, and would NEVER be Muslim, have a positive view of Black MUslims. There is a reason for this. You can spot a real NOI member a mile away, from the way they look and conduct themselves, be they male or female and it's not in a judgemental I'm better than you way, it's in a " I profess to believe certain things, so I make sure that I conduct myself accordingly, not I profess to believe certain things so I'm gonna hound YOU about whether u conduct yourself accordingly, which is the USUAL stance of the dogmatic, irrespective of their belief system.

That's right. I don't personally subscribe to Islam or Christianity, but I respect people who attempt  to rep what they CLAIM to believe, rather than wagging their finger in my face all the damn time. In my experience, Black Muslims succeed in that regard more than their Christian counterparts.  I have all kinds of issues with organized religion, but I give them credit for having enough sense to at least ATTEMPT to mold whatever religion they got off into, to THEIR own experiences and issues, not trying to act like Harlem,USA is Saudi ARabia. Too many Black folks wholesale swallow other peoples religions, with no practical benefit to them or their lives. The NOI had enough sense to come up with a program to address the ills and maladies of these people in this society., and  make the religion they chose, conform to it, not the other way around.

I agree that Black Muslims are inclined to be blinded by their religiouis affiliation and alibi for Arabs, or choose to look at them/their behaviors through rose colored glasses. ONe of the many reasons I took Malcolm's "middle east racial " revelations with a grain of salt and the reason that I don't blindly cosign what anyone says, I don't care how much I dig them. Any of us can be caught slipping on a given day.

@Liberiangirl-forgive me if I'm a little dubious about all these Black folks who don't like the NOI because they think they had something to do with Malcolm's death. These are the same Negroes who wholesale rejected Malcolm when he was LIVING, and didn't get brave til he was dead and white folks had watered his image and message down enough to make liking him, acceptable. Now all of a sudden, everybody LOVES Malcolm....whatever.  I saw one of his daughters on C-span recently(she wrote a book called growing up Malcolm or something like that), and she was saying that even today, people come up to her to say they liked her father, but they whisper it and  look around first to see if anyone is looking, lol.

Beyond that, love him or hate him, Farrakan is the only Black "leader" in this country who could put out a call to a million Black men, and have them respond....twice(overwhelmingly non MUSLIM). That speaks for itself. Can't think of any other one of our "substitute teacher" leaders who could have done the same, irrespective of whether we LIKE them or not. Apparently,a lot of folks begrudgingly respect him, even if they don't like him.

Aryek wrote: Yes it is sad.  Every time I leave this board and go onto others, I immediately notice a stark contrast between the black people there and the ones here.  Now, off course you guys are no saints :D, but man even on napptruality a lot of the women there are of the mind that black men cannot and do not appreciate black women but white and men of other races can.  This really puzzles and leaves me wondering what planet these people are from.  Black people in general, not just black women, like to delude themselves with the idea that they can get more love and support from people outside of this race than from their own race.  Now I've been around whites and other non-blacks long enough to know that this is not the case.  But still we continue thinking that they love us and we are each others enemies.  We also seem to run on a short fuse when dealing with each other but we will bend over backwards and give plenty of passes to non-blacks.  I also agree that the reason why we're so willing to put up with more sh*t from them than from one another is because we've got more love for non-blacks than we have for our own race.  It's a simple as that.   We love them as much as we hate ourselves.  This is why like most people in love, we put on rose tinted glasses for them, and like those who are feuding, we turn around and act so hostile towards each other.

But I would still like to know the causes behind these feelings that so many of us seem to harbour because we will be unable to progress with this attitude.  Every other race, especially whites, look out for themselves but not us, no, it's too much to ask black people to put their selfishness aside and think about what will be good for all of us in the end.  This me, me, me attitude won't get us any where.

1. About the author of this article and it's 'contributors'--

(a) Do they believe what they want US to believe about ourselves?

(b) If so, then what exactly is it that they are trying to convey by putting this kind of information out?

Scholarly identification of problems is nothing more than eleoquent rhetoric. Scholarly provision of solutions to problems is exceptionally rare.

The fact of the matter is that whatever is wrong with Black Culture is wrong with Black Culture-period. It's got nothing to do with White folks buyig hip hop records, it's nothing to do with how 'other' classes or cultures or creeds of people live or not, it's got nothing to do with who is marketing what is good or bad. At the end of the day this article is about US and nobody but US and the choices we make in our own lives, for our own good or ill, in our own culture.

We seem to be stuck in this perpetual spin of a two-sided coin; on the one hand we are the victims of hundreds of years of white supremacy, and on the other hand we are the perpetrators of our own general misfortune.

There is no 'making up our mind' about what's wrong- We already know, we have always known and always will know.

Our problem is US. Period.

Our solution is US. Period.

Hip Hop is destroying our youth -- Gimme a damned break! WE are the one's producing it. We are the ones walking around with $300 I-Pods listening to that crap all day long. We are the one's allowing our children to act as if they were OUR peers or acting as if We were thiers, trying to 'jive' with with all the garbage influencing them as some sort of psuedo social interrelational ethic.

If we're all so damned aware of what's wrong with US then why are our kids listening to Hip-Hop, walking the street with thier asses hanging out, wearing T-shirts with Scarface on them, getting HIV left and right, and talking like promotees of Thugism 101?

BECAUSE WE ALLOW IT, AND BECAUSE WE HAVEN'T DON
