The entertainment industry especially the movie industry has only recently started applauding the efforts of the black actor/actresses and or musician...Though disegregation of races fell in place decades ago, the rat race within the movie industry between black actors/resses has come a long way and gateways opened by Sidney Pontier et al shouldnt go without notice. So I thought it would be good to mention five or so black movies or movies revolving around the black community that enlighten the old and young generation alike
