Has anyone heard of this film 'Guess Who?' it's the remake of 'Guess Who's Coming to Dinner?'. Only except it's a black woman bringing her white boyfriend (Ashton Kutcher) home to meet her father (Bernie Mac).

Its a travesty to remake such a classic with these clownsImagine Spencer Tracy, Katherine hepburn and Sidney Poitier beeing relaced by kutchewr, mac and that black girl, What a joke

However, Bernie Mac can play the angry dad better than any1 so it shoukld be very funny.  s long as it doesnt get too racist it should be a good film and I guess it isnt really trying to ne like the 67 classic, but that was a drama

i think its time black people were banned from making movies. this is getting ridiculous. how many more movies are we gonna make that involves black this white that. and 90% of them are really crap. i cant remember the last black made movie that was intelligent, thought provoking or at least even funny. they 're all the same versions of each other, usually filled with light skinned (could almost pass for white) black people talking the same black white bullsh*t we've seen for like a trillion times. jeez.     :X

Does any1 remember Jackie( Aunt Viv sister) marrying a white man( Frank) in the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air

the cab scene in the Frsh Prince of Bel-Air, when the black man comes in and he is very handsome and Aunt Helen and Aunt Vi are cooing over him, and Frank comes in and they think he's the cab driver and give him five dollars

Apparently, this has been copied  in Guess Who film.

These black directors embarss themselves sometimes. Hotel Rwanda and Ray are made by white guys( who by the way had to struggle for finance/distribution), and we go and make White Chicks and Guess Who

Embarrasiing. Dont get me wrong, bernie mac is gonna ensure that i watch and laugh at this film, but its still played iut

Cashmoney,

Have you seen Antoine Fischer? That was a very good film directed by a Black man.

yes @ burning, heavyweight film

Its just that culturally important films like Hotel Rwanda and Ray should be done by our own peeps. I was watching the Oscars and all the technical staff behind Ray were lily white, shenanigans.

Also these guys werent giving a blank cheque so why couldnt Spike Lee do the films, instead he wants to make a film about man f**kng lesbians

By the way, do you reckon this film is gonna be funny

@Cash

You know I was watching a trailer awhile back and I was wondering where I seen that taxi scene before, I almost had it figured out but then it escaped my mind. Presque Vu or something.

Saw the movie.... if it wasn't for Bernie Mac and the $9.50 I paid, I would have left.  I got the point of the movie from the first 5 minutes, but everything between the opening and closing credits (acting and plot wise)... besides Bernie Mac... was mierda del toro.  mad-moonie   But, supporting Bernie Mac was worth it I guess.

Bernie Mac is an actor that I really appreciate watching.  I always enjoy his characters and he does spice up any movie he is in, even if he has a small role.  That movie seemed like nothing more than something to showcase his acting abilities, and he SERIOUSLY carried the whole movie.  You would walk away from the film swearing Ashton Kutcher couldn't act a lick, and should simply stick to wooing Demi Moore.
