I've always wondered, what the hell happened to Martin Lawrence? 
When he starred alongside Will Smith in 'Bad Boys', it seemed as if the film would launch both of their careers into orbit.
But since then, while Smith's career has gone from stength to strength, Lawrence has ended up... well, as Big Momma (coughs).

Here in the US a lot of women, especially older Black women, think the sun rises and sets on Denzel Washinton. It would be hard for them to ever believe that silly little big earred Will Smith is the highest paid "African-American" actor.
But anyway, I'm extremely happy for him. I've always liked him since he publicly spoke up about there not being a need to use so much profanity and disrespect women in rap music.
And I hope he and jada continue to have a happy marriage.......

This is long overdue.Denzel's films don't do nearly the business as "Big Willie" in the US.Also Mr.Washington needs to stop playing the investigator cop in every flick.But something tells me "American Gangster" wil be a huge hit.
Will Smith's next film "I Am Legend" should be reel interesting.

I'm happy to hear that a black man is a power house in Hollywood as there is so much prejudice there( and not to say that Will Smith is immune from it). He is a great actor.

It has the most expensive movie scene in the history of film ever. Will is a brilliant actor. I want him to get an oscar soon

I would like to see Will flex his muscles
In the runup to Hitch he said that the reason Eva Mendes was picked was because a white female lead wouldnt do good business in US and a black female wouldnt do good business full stop( words to that effect)
There was a topic on this in this village but good luck trying to get the search engine to work
With his new found status I hope he insists on black female romantic leads whenever the story permits
I would also like to see him with a couple ofwhite romantic leads just to see how bullet proof Will is. He has a solid marriage and family so I would hope he would be immune from the types of comments that are ususlly associated with the screen union
