NOTW had other ideas about FOREST

THE unlikely hot star nominated for Best Actor at this year's Oscars has a tangled secret life away from Hollywood's glitz.
Married Forest Whitaker —stunning as Ugandan dictator Idi Amin in The Last King Of Scotland—has a 16-year-old son, Ocean, from an on-off affair.
And, we can reveal, his ex-girlfriend is still MADLY IN LOVE with the overweight actor and PRAYS he'll leave his wife and go back to her one day.
Besotted Monique Miller, speaking for the first time about their turbulent 20-year relationship, said: "I idolised him and I still do.
"I long for us to be a proper family even though he is married and has children with another woman.
"Tonight when I watch Forest on TV at the Oscars it will be with an overwhelming sense of pride, but also great sadness as I think of the gaping hole in our lives."
Monique, 43, revealed how the star:
# DROVE her wild with candlelit sex sessions in rose-scented baths.
# DRIFTED apart from her as he tasted more and more Tinseltown fame.
# BEDDED a string of other women.
# REFUSED to stand bail when she was locked up for trashing his flat after finding condoms on the floor.
Forest, 46—on TV here in ER, playing a stroke victim who's suing heart-throb doc Luca Kovac—has been married to actress Keisha Nash, since 1996 and they have two daughters, Sonnet and True.
But ex-model Monique told how she fell for the struggling actor 11 years before when she was a publicity agent. She smiled: "He was not the best looking man in the world. He was hardly a typical movie star—slightly overweight and with a lazy left eye. But he made up for it with his magical personality.
"He was the earth, the wind and the sea for me and always took my breath away."
Monique recalled how she helped teach her shy lover about sex because he'd been a school nerd, unsuccessful with girls.
She said: "I had great fun showing him the ropes in bed...and he was a quick learner.
"It was amazing. He made every inch of my body tingle with lust.
"Forest was incredibly romantic. Many nights I'd come home to find he had run me a bath, put rose water in it and lit candles.
"We'd strip off, slide in together and make love in the water."
Then Monique became pregnant. She grinned: "Forest was with me when I gave birth to our son and both of us shed tears of joy.
"He said it was the happiest day of his life. He picked the name Ocean because he said he wanted his first son to be called something bigger than a forest."
For a year the little family were blissfully happy. But as Forest— who starred in Platoon, Good Morning Vietnam, Panic Room and The Crying Game—became increasingly famous they drifted apart.
Monique recalled: "Suddenly all these women were throwing themselves at him. He'd never experienced being an object of lust before. He was like a kid in a toy shop.
"So I sat and waited, hoping he would get it out of his system and one day be mine for ever."
For several years the couple had an on-off relationship. Forest would move in, and then out again. And Monique became more and more depressed.
Syrup
She recalled: "One day I drove to see him at our old house and found condoms on the floor. Another woman had clearly just left our old bed and I went berserk.
"I tore up a load of paintings he had just bought (why do women do this?) and hacked up the bed. I was covered in feathers and maple syrup as Forest had been eating pancakes in bed.
"The police came and locked me up. Forest refused to pay my bail and I spent 24 hours in jail."
Soon afterwards the actor met his wife-to-be, Keisha—but he'd still turn up at Monique's home to cuddle up on the sofa and watch TV with their son. She revealed: "Often he would arrive at 2am and I'd never turn him away. I just always wanted him and still do."
The 17st vegetarian actor has paid maintenance and school fees for Ocean and spent time with him, even though he has a new wife and family. The boy was invited to his wedding and last Christmas went on holiday to Capri with Forest, his wife and daughters.
Monique said: "Ocean adores his dad as much as I do. Often we watch his films and I know both of us are praying he is in our lives for real. Our son is very like his dad—a real thinker. He wants to be a vet.
"Nobody will be prouder than Ocean and I if Forest does win the Oscar tonight. He is a good man with a good heart.
"Then he can concentrate on what really matters—his only son who just craves to have his dad around a bit more.
"I have every faith Forest will come good for both of us—despite how famous he has become."

Good on Forest & Jennifer really pleased.
But felt sorry for Peter O'Toole. His a great actor but I see the nature of the Oscars which is one year one star.
As for Jennifer, I was watching steadly to see if they were going to Pop Out. .
She has so much more to give.............good on her

I'm sure Peter O'Toole already has an Oscar for Lawrence of Arabia.......don't feel sorry for him,the mans probably just thrilled to still be alive, never mind being able to turn up for the ceremony.....that man has put a serious hurting on himself with the drink over the years...only a matter of time before he'll be in the In Memeorium section of the show.......he is a legend though and I love his acting.

@ jett
He doesn't have one for Lawrence of Arabia
He was beaten by Gregory Peck for 'To Kill a Mockingbird'
It would have been unfair if he had taken it over Whitaker but the academy has history of doing that. Denzel in 2002, Judi Dench in 1998, etc etc

Hmmm? that s interesting I swore he had won one, maybe it was for My Favourite Year or something??
If he hasnt won one think the Academy ought to organize some sort of lifet-time achievement award toute suite, coz he doesnt look like he's gonna be around much longer.

he has reluctantly accepted a lifetime achievement award but wants a proper one
Looking at his imdb profile he isn't doing any oscar worthy roles
Venus was his last chance.
