Well, well, well
Just come back from cinema, don't know why some black people can't behave themselves in public places, geez! A group of black boys manage to get themselves dash out, what a waste of time and money.
But anyway not to deviate too much, this film is A1. If ur into films that test ur logic and gets you thinking this one is for you. The technology is mind blowing, it gives u a HUGE insight as to what is gonna happen to us a few short yrs from now. If you know about google earth it's like that but on a much bigger scale. You think this ID card being released in 2009 is gonna cause problems, well thats just the start. People will start killing themselves just so they can get some privacy in their coffin, I'm not even exaggerating.
Denzel Washington delivers as usual, these types of films are made for him. Defo a film I have to watch again, partly cos of the interruption when the boys were getting dash out, but also because it had me gripped that much. You'll be sitting there trying to work out what happens next.

@ Desperately Seeking Popcorn boy
Wheres my caseload of popcorn? I got some dvds to watch over christmas and I need my fix

Cool Facety,I read some good reviews of this, will most likely go and see it within the next few days,by myself, coz I dont give a toss, yagetme?
Coincidentally I have just washed and dusted down my popcorn making machine which I havnt used for a year, but after Xmas im gonna go on a semi-fast(I have to,I reckon ive gained 4 pounds just from Baileys consumption alone,in fact im on it now) and some popcorn sans butter and salt will help me do that.

Plain popcorn is one of the healthiest things u can eat, try having it like that. Me, I go for the sweet popcorn every time, and I see Desperately seeking popcorn boy has gone into hiding

| Honestly I thought this film would be weak but it was ok might be worth watching but only if you dont have anything better to do.

Yeah it was worth a watch but then anything new Denzel is. Only gripe was the thin line between reality and fiction in that with fiction anything is possible so no matter how intricate the plot, the need to have to guess what happens next is kind of futile as it's no longer bound finitely to what we know as reality.
Still, brings to the fore that old theory of aliens and if they exist and are only 100 years more advanced than us, they would know exactly what to do to prevent us from discovering them. We could be living side by side with them and wouldn't even know it.
The whole issue with fate and destiny also comes home with the added perspective that our lives maybe pre-determined but destiny is not fixed but dynamic i.e. your life course may vary but some pre-determining force still makes the decision to vary it from the path it was on before.
In terms of heaven and earth and the afterlife it makes you appreciate the concept that the life we are living now is actually a recording of a past life were we only resume our real life after we die i.e the life we are living now is how it could have been - likewise with reincarnation, this life now for some could already be an afterlife. Interesting.

I'll have to agree with this. From the water and fire set pieces and Denzel appearing in slow-motion you know it's a Tony Scott film (amongest others he made Crimson Tide and Man on fire with Denzel). Tony Scott is a hack Denzel is much better off working with his brother Ridley. If you ignore the peudoscience as you do in most Sci-fi (as it would take the power of an exploding star to power any such time machine), We are presented with a plot that could have been recycled from the tv show Quantam leap. The ideas explored in the film have been done better in the likes of Twelve Monkeys and the French short La Jetee it was based on. It's not unenjoyable mainly due to Denzel's presence, but again I wish someone somewhere would give him scripts that challenge him.

I am sure I've seen this one before. But maybe not.
if one could go back in the past by four days what would you are anyone in their right mind do???????????
Of Course the Lottery.
It was jagged around the edges and in side. Beyond disbelief. and irrelevant to the victums of Katrina - not sure the connection made by the producers, perhaps they could have done the same story but with Katrina as the disaster to be avoided rather than a so over as a topic of a "terrorist" attack.
Sorry Guy's I give this film ** out of 10

Mmmm.. it was aight.... a bit too over... the top in terms of science..
mmmm and the crux of the movie bothered me... if he didnt see that gurl and like her he would have never gone back in time... to save all those people...
mmmm which in itself is kinda wack...

I think the technology was on point, I can see that happening to us not too many yrs from now. Like I said before it's basically google earth but on a bigger scale, you looked at ur house lately on google earth? And Denzel liking the woman doesn't come into it, before we (the viewers) saw her dead in the morgue he had already played a major role in her life. When he went back in time he changed a couple of things that he had already done.
