What do you guys think?
No doubt this is life people are living like this, we have heard it a 1000 time before, but i feel like this film ( well from the trailer) it is glorifying the hood life, 'look how hard i am i rob steal and i have been shot'. I know ther are ppl that will find it entertaining rather than disturbing.
Just perpetuating stereotypes and negative images of our ppl. I think it would be better if these types of docu films were more critically and more solution focused. A constructive film would ask why ppl are living these lives , whats happened over the last 30yrs, wher do the drugs and guns come from? But more time these films aren't made by us so its someone elses agenda that is being pushed, and we are too stupid to see it.

After seeing that idiotic trailer, I feel like going to my local african food shop, buying a few logs of yam, flying over to where this wasteman film is being made, and smacking it over evryones head until either they cry blood, or until they see sense and realise their is more too life. It seems that too many in our community are happy settling as consumers as long as they can pick their cheeck which comes right out odf the white mans backside.
Instead of fighting over crumbs, or a small piece of the cake, I would rather be the man holding the knife which cuts the cake....IF YOU KNOW WHAT I AM SAYING

| The only time people will stop making these types of films is when white people get bored of watching them and move on to some other 'ethnic' film genre to satisfy their appetite for exotica.
