Anyway I saw a trailer for this when I went to see The Betrayed and I literally could only watch it through my fingers I found it that cringy.
Why is it Sasha Baron Cohen is so comfortable lampooning other cultures??
When is he going to do an idiot Jew character for balance?

i have never found this guy funny... and it amazes me how long black people took to.. realise... the whole ali g charcater was disrespectulf... i never watched even one episode....

My friend took me to see this film and it was Sh*t, waste of film. Its not even Funny its just stupid. Theres like 2 funny bits out of the whole film but other then that dont waste your time and money, dont even get it from the china man.
The white people in the cinema are jokes though, they were laughing before the film started, they stopped when the credits were rolling. I guess it dont take much for them to laugh.

How was he disrespectful? He was taking the piss out of idiots who carry on that way, if anything he's doing people a favour.
But you're right he isn't funny at all, he probably knows that himself, but he sure knows how to make the majority of idiots in this country laugh.

I found it funny in places but not in a traditionally funny way. It wasn't laugh out loud or ha ha funny, some of it dragged but I admit that I did laugh during certain scenes because I was actually shocked. When they were running naked I couldn't believe my eyes, I was laughing out of embarrassment and shock! I'm sorry but I never want to see someone that fat naked ever again. I also laughed when those teeange boys and that old racist rodeo-man showed themselves up. Its something that I would watch on dvd because its just silly fun but its not really worth going to the cinema for.

| This didn't make me laugh very much - mostly my reaction was to cringe, or hide behind my hands in embarrassment - but it was reasonably funny. Just nowhere near as much as people would have you believe: I'm in the "over-hyped" camp on this one. Maybe it mostly wasn't my type of humour - I do think humour is particularly personal. There were some parts I cringed at (when he gave his sh*t to the woman at the dinner party and when he bought the Black prostitute to the same party and the woman kicked them out, and the naked wrestling  ), but all in all it wasn't that funny.
