Like most kids, Ned idolized his father and dreamed of following in his footsteps. Unfortunately, his father was a two-bit crook who spent most of his life in jail. Without a family of his own, Ned falls in with the Aryan Brotherhood. Soon after, Ned is placed in a mental hospital where he is mesmerized by a young black girl who believes Adolf Hitler was reincarnated in her. What follows is a gritty character study and poignant love story of two people brought together by a seemingly impossible connection. As a result of that connection, they both find that there is more to a person than what is on the surface.

I heard about this film 2 years ago.To my knowledge this film has already come and gone. It was showcased at some film festival last year. I don't think it was actually ever release in USA cinemas which means.................................IT WILL PRBABLY GO STRAIGHT TO VIDEO.

I just read the plot again. In a nutshell: she hates herself (believes she is the reincarnation of Adolf Hitler so she must do) and the white man loves her for it.
Sounds like real life to me.

Don't these black actors and actresses have a conscience when going to audition for these films? I'm sure that something must tug at their conscience when reading the script.
I know that you have to pay the bills but at what costs. Another piece of racist crap to come out again.
Believe, this will not be the end of these type of films.

But it all comes down to education. We simply don't educate ourselves. We let these young folks believe they are "individuals". . .in a "White" supremacist society.

Has anyone actually thought that gabrielle Union might be tired of playing the 'chick on the side' who always gets her man. Thats all she has been in every film I have seen of hers and this role is deep by her standrads. Lets just see how it comes out before we condemn her, before you know it she'll be back in those Breakin The Rule stereotypical roles where al she does is smile and look pretty

Nope, it certainly won't be unfortunately. It's only black actors that are willing to denigrate their own at all costs in the excuse that the roles they're offered are "limited". It's funny how Asian Americans have refused certain types of roles even though they're far more pigeonholed in the movie industry and have managed.

Has anyone seen this film?
Is it portraying black people in general in a bad light, or just her character?
I'd imagine as an actress, the true test of your talent would be to convincingly play a character as far removed from yourself as possible.
Anyone ever seen Will Smith in Six Degrees of Seperation?
I can't comment until i see the film, I thought I'd love Monsters Ball until I saw it.

So are we saying those are the ONLY TWO roles, available in the ENTIRE industry?
Whose fault is it that she was always portrayed as the 'chick on the side'?
Yes, it is good for people to stretch themselves in whatever field they are, but sometimes just sometimes (in particular with Art) you can and should say NO.
Btw isn't that the excuse they always use...something vague about exploring characters far removed from themselves...and yet it (usually) tends to be a negative/stereotypical/agenda-pushing character....funny that.

its the beauty curse. Aint nobody buying gabrielle union as anything but a love interest to morris chestnut. I bet she getting aboslute peanut for this film, and I bet she pressed to do it as well. She certainly isnt the first actress I would have in mind for something like this

This movie has GOT to be a comedy. Was laughing my head off just reading the above. Will anyone really pay $$$ to watch this nonsense!!! I need to write a movie of my own called, "Sucker, I will take your money".
