@Yep Gods and Generals part one and two probably the best recent movie I have watched for the longest...problem is when the killing starts its not everyones cup of tea and they start to get fidgety...
But best movie I have ever seen about the American civil war.good to say nothing in the actual film that makes it a turn off..
Great historical movie and a must see..

Example 1....Yep..I was enjoying the DamBusters in my youth...really getting into the film up until the part when the lead character calls his Black dog to him.. 'here N****r' not once but a few times..at that point my opinion of that b**tard changed and so did my will to keep watching the film? Never bothered with it since...
As a boy I used to like any film with Jame Stewart or John Wayne..in fact i was a big John wayne fan..up until I discovered what a right wing b**tard he really was..now I simply can't watch any of his movies..same with Chuck Norris, and that other barstard Charlton Heston..in fact in his case I want him to die horribly....

yes, in Saw when the black man got his throat bust open by the madman when there was ample opportunity for him and his pardy to kill that mofo BEFORE that happened.
was just getting over that scene, and then the woman (wife of one of the captives) fluffs her chance to shoot the crazy man when she had a loaded gun pointed at him and every opportunity to blow him away. but nooo she dawdles and chats b.s. until she loses her chance. fool.
if those two scenes were not included i would have enjoyed that film far more so i would say it was ruined for me.

That famous speech in The Godfather by one of the so called "Dons":
I, too, don't believe in drugs. For years I paid my people extra to stay away from that sort of stuff, but someone comes along saying, I've got powders where if you put up a three to four thousand dollar investment, you can make fifty thousand distributing, then there is no way to resist it. I want to keep it respectable. I don't want it near schools. I don't want it sold to children! In my city, we'd keep the traffic in the Dark People, the Coloreds - they're animals anyway, so let them lose their souls.
When I saw this years ago I was enjoying it up until that point.
Just to think that a lot of these rappers want to emulate these c*nts when they've never had any respect for Africans.

I like that bit of the Godfather, because it shows what these types really think, and their attitude to blacks in general. It is also meant to make you not feel sympathetic with the characters.
You are right about the rappers though. Raekwon and Ghost idolise Jewish and Italian gangsters- if your going to idolise those scum, cant you at least idolise a black scumbag?
I have a reverse situation to Kungfu. I avoide Johnny Cashs music as I thought he was a typical racist southern white. Then I heard about his work for Native Americans, and then I listened to his music about how sad it was living in a country where the oriingal people had their land stolen. His music is very powerful and I started listening to him after I heard that track about NAs.

I know....I'm a fan of WU for 14 years despite their downfall, but I hear you. I don't see no one making as much noise about African gangsters like Bumpy Johnson. Ironically the Wu, particularly RZA are actually long time friends of the Gambino crime family in NY!!!
Personally, my favourite portrayal of African mobsters is in Romeo Must Die. Isaak O'Day is the don in that film. F*** the overrated Don Corleone.
