I'm urging EVERYONE to watch this film. I watched it yesterday at Ligali's Kubatana meeting.
I'm telling you it really is an amazing flim. One of (if not THE) best african film I have yet to see. It's so powerful and moving. You will feel it on so many levels. I really don't want to give much about it away, I want it to be fresh for each of you but I think it's an ESSENTIAL film for any black person...

I thought you saw this years ago.The director Haile Gerima was one of my instructors at Howard University.He owns a film/DVD shop in Washington DC where alot of films from the continent are sold.I've bought several there.

Studied it for uni last year but I missed the screening, my local video store lost their only copy and it seems you cannot get it in other video stores. Will be on the lookout for this when I have some money so I can buy my own copy!

| Well Burning Spear just posted a link of an online shop that stocks it. I watched it with Ligali at their fortnightly Kubatana movie discussion thing. I'm gonna get me a copy somehow though. As I said, it's CRUCIAL african viewing.
