So did anybody rush and see this revolutionary piece about Christ? *note sarcasm*
I didn't bother watching because it looked like just another one of those movies about white Jesus. That guy that played Jesus look absolutely nothing like the real deal.

Jesus werent white , but he cerrainly wouldnt have passed for Samuel L jackson brother either. I have issues wit the white jesus we see, even spoke to my mum about the opbligatory pic on the wall but it doesnt keep me awake at night

| First of all, nobody has the right knowledge has to which race jesus was, but we know for sure he was not WHITE. But then again i don't like to argue the race debate because with religion that is not of any importance, because WE all know the truth.

i was ia bit indifferent to the film
Not amused with the Jesus but had a new found respect for Pontius Pilate iff the back of the film
King Herod made me laugh, thye proper hammed him up
The whippings were too much. People wer arying in the cinema
Good film but a tad overhyped

| I saw it...damn..that was some traumatic ish..they were beating him for like an hour an a half of the film, the only humour I got was from the little devil children (they were so cute) but when he was carrying the cross....oh boi, that's probably the only time I can remember where I've been into the movie and forgotten everythin else around me, I was a lil depressed after I watched the film..I don't know why, but I was

I didn't want to see that grossly inaccurate film. I know of many Black churches that took hundreds at a time to the movies to see that movie of a false White God.
I am sorry, but I find it rather pathetic. First, it is pathetic that Whites have to continue to distort reality to appease their aggressive egos. Lastly, it is pathetic that Blacks look to this White God for salvation.

I am not asserting this, but merely asking whether or not people would of had the same reaction to the film if it were a Black Christ being beaten for over an hour. Someone in the theatre might of slipped out, "striang uhp 'da ni%ger!"
I think it is worthy of serious inspection.

I didn't ignore you. I don't don't think you hate me or not. I really don't give a damn if you do, but I notice everytime I have my own thread or if I comment on something your always there with some smarta$$ comment for me all the time and I barely am familiar with you on this site.
