Seems as though all the 80's cartoons and comic book hero's are hitting the large screens. I can't complain because as a kid I enjoyed watching fantastic 4 and x-men and indeed Thundercats.
There are a few conflicting stories about this movie not sure if it's going to be actually released.

This is a hoax bro and it's about 3 years old. I've seen those pictures before. As much as I loved thundercats I think a live action movie would be an incredibly STUPID idea....
Same with Transformers.
If you want a Thundercats movie just watch Exodus and be done with it.

you call yourself Liono and have thundercats emblem yet never heard of exodus?
It's the first thundercat movie (actually just the first 5 episodes of the cartoon in one).
When Jaga takes them from Thundera because the sun goes nova and everyone has to flee. Liono is only a small boy then but Jaga puts him and all the others into stasis sleep and pilots them into space. They reach 3rd earth after their ship is attacked by the mutants (slythe, monkian, jackalman, vultureman) and crash trapping them on their new planet. Slythe meets Mumra and the rest is history...
