For the last 2 years, I have be meaning to watch the last Matrix, but I haven't manage to watch it yet, but from most ppl feedbacks I am really not to eager to watch it either, maybe when it comes out on Channel 5.... just maybe I might watch it....

Don’t listen to people. Although not as good as reloaded, and could have straightened out a few things revolution was still a pretty good film.
Anyway, i been meaning to watch "The Usual Suspects" but for some reason i only remember it when others mention the film.

You have not seen these movies? Hmm allow me to help you out with some quick reviews...
Matrix 2 and 3
Jumbled mishmash, rushed and poor. Don't listen to Abs, these movies are appaling. The action scenes may amuse you (though by now you have seen better). Basically, what was fresh new and innovative in matrix one is now tired, overdone and lame... the whole black leather and sunglasses style just looks tired. Like the movies are trying to hard to be cool, where the first one just was. Also very pretentious in terms of dialogue and storyline... you get the feeling the scriptwriters were very smug men who were over pleased with themselves... I can't see why.
SAW
I had a bad impression of the movie before I saw it, I thought it would just be a gruesome blood fest like chainsaw massacre. Something I like to think myself above. However the story was a bit deeper than that and worth checking out, if only for the great ending. You will keep watching just to see what happens next. Decent film.
Kill Bill 2
Disgusting disspointment. WAAAAAAAY to talky... not enough action. And she kills bill in 10 seconds... Everyone knows you are supposed to end a kung fu movie with a long drawn out spectacular fight (especially after such a buildup) but that was offensive. Give it a miss.
Resoivoir Dogs
Good movie. This is minimalism done well, you will note that most of the movie takes place in one set, in one room furthermore. The characters and actors are all spot on. The ending is satisfying too. If you are not squeamish you will enjoy it.
Collateral
Overrated nonsense. Absolutely silly. Avoid it. I don't like movies with stupid coincidences that insult me... Jada pinkett steps in to his cab in the morning sparks fly. The next person in the cab is Tom cruise who just happens to be a hitman on a mission to kill her? Bollocks!
Ray
See the Ray thread. Excellent movie. Great stuff. Shame on you for not having seen it yet.
Hotel Rwanda

Lord of the rings 2 and 3
Great stuff though I've read the books before. I don't see how those who did not would be able to keep up with all the characters and storylines but anyway... It is compelling viewing and the scenery action and SFX would be good enough but the acting and story is great too. The last one is particularly good though it does suffer from an overlong ending (watch out for that).
Shark Tale
Avoid this. It is not as funny as it thinks it is. This is no finding Nemo, that was a great movie, this is trash... Will Smith is not a funny fish.
Gone with the wind
URGH! You're not serious? This film is longer than the 10 commandments, and that is no lie...
It is about a STUPID STUPID girl... whose very stupidity will annoy you. Oh and her friend whose man she likes (well the woman whose friend she pretends to be) is a ridicolous character, nobody is THAT naive and THAT saintly... FFS! The tone of the movie is one of nostalgia for the slavery period and regret at it's passing. This is very disturbing considereing the movies status... The black characters will annoy you. Watch it if you must but prepare to be annoyed.
Poetic Justice

Bit better, more action, things start happening... The beef at the end is cool.

GREAT. The best SW movie of them all.
They ALL suffer from REALLY corny dialogue and terrible acting though.

You forgot to mention the beautiful scenery of Jamaica and its people...oh and...NO WHITE PPL IN THE FOREFRONT AND JAMAICANS USED AS THE BACKGROUND

What do you know of quality fight scenes? PAH!! HUMBUG!! Matrix 2 and 3? Absolute codswallop!! You want a quality fight scene you have two rules...
ONE
NOTHING made in Hollywood
TWO
NOTHING made within the last 15 years
Stick to that and you will do well. Flying about in the air on strings while body doubles do all the work for actors who can't fight does not a good fight scene make! SFX, explosions and guns make for great ACTION scenes and I love em... but good fight scenes? Don't make me laugh... I will recommend you some good fight scenes if you really want to learn sweetie, look at recommending matrix I think you need some edumacation!!

It's a rubbish film but the fight between Silverfox and Sam Seed at the resturant table over a cup of wine (trying not to spill it) as they knock each other senseless while sitting down is classic.
Wheels on Meals
Jackie Chan versus funny looking spainish dude "Ill make this a training session"
Go and watch these fights oh little twittery eyed one and come back and tell me Matrix had good fights!!

Well @BB i was trying to come across as the one likely to tell the truth... so people would trust my judgement more than the giant... but i think all i managed to do was make him sound more of an expert .
