What does freedom mean? Imagine controlling our own image, imagine being able to tell our story how we see fit without any authority or permission slip from Europeans. This is 500 YEARS LATER!
The film has taken off in the states but you would be surprised (or not) by the obstacles placed to stop it from attain its true exposure. And the funny thing is not only by Europeans, but by "Negroes" who dont have any interest in films that empower us or represent a view not sanctioned by the White press. The only chance is if people like those reading this message do something about it and demand that a documentary film made by us African people be reviewed shown etc etc. At least visit the website. But we dont support each other and then we complain. The Ritzy cinema can tell us to get lost because they know we dont support each other and will always gravitate to negativity over positivity. Too busy doing nothing to c we have no voice, no representation and no more rights than 30 years ago! Check the site, support the film (and films like these). Be part of something progressive!
