Here is my review. Im tired so keep it short & sweet.
The Good:
*Great Action scenes of course! Hell even R2-D2 gets to handle biz!
*General Grievus dude was the truth!
*They kept the political story simple this time, unlike episode I & especially II when you didnt quite know what the hell was going on.
* They had a REAL animatronic Yoda instead of that damn CGI bullsh*t like in episode II
The Bad:
* The love scenes between Anakin and Padme sucked... no chemistry
* The scripted lines sucked for the most part.
Overall I would say this was a very fufilling movie. Great action, had a nice dark tone to the movie. Satisfactory explanation of how "Darth Vader" came to be. By far the best of the Prequals.
Now I look forward to Shadows of the Empire being made some time.

EFFF the critics it was brilliant!
I had watched the cartoon series "clone wars" so I was more prepared than most.
I liked all of this film and wouldnt fault it. Take it as it is... a kids movie about spaceship battles and badies with glowing swords. Relax, dont analyse it like you would and adult movie and just enjoy...

I thought it was really good. I love the production design, for some reason it reminded me a little bit of Final Fantasy, FFX in particular. Probably the ornate set design. Also the bit where Palpatine was talking to Anakin at the 'Opera'. Reminded me of Blitzball.
Never was a die hard Star Wars fan, so I'm not gonna get too extra about the whole thing, but I liked all the prequels, even through some of the plot contrivances, and dodgy acting.

EP III
Ok .......
Its ticked most of the boxes, a few points to take issue with but its ok.
I would say this one is for the fans.
Great effects.
Anakin still cant act but hey its star wars who cares he looks the part.
Sam Jackson does not disapoint & does not go out like a punk.
Yoda is the man !!!
Ian Mcdimond or what ever his name is !!! Steals the show as the Sith Lord.
WHAT IS IT WITH BRITISH BAD GUYS !!!
As a fan I would say not bad Mr Lucas the best by a long way of the prequels.
8 out of 10.

I thought it tid up all the loose ends nicely.Since eveyone know the outcome, the execution was cruicial.George Lucas is no screenwriter ,but this film flowed better.
I can't wait ofr the DVD because the battle scene at the beginning had so much going on it was very hard to follow.
Kind of curious on the time
+++++++++++++++Spoiler alert++++++++++++++++++Spoiler alert++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++======
At the end was the twins were seperated and they were on CPT Antilles ship (remember the beginning of the first Star Wars). Can I asumme it took almost thirty years to construct the Death Star?

Burning Spear.
They started the death star back in attack of the clones which is a few years before Revenge of the Sith. It doesnt take 30 years it takes less than 20 which is roughly how old Luke and Leia are at the beginning of Star Wars.
The second one doesnt take as long to build though because from Empire strikes back to Return of the Jedi is not THAT long.

I can't beleive its all over.I saw the original as a teenager and its finally done.In retospect the saga was about Vadar moreso than Luke, the Jedi and the Force. This epic changed the way we look at movies.
The last five minutes of the movie was to be quite honest with you quite powerful. When Annikan became Vader was a sight to behold.

Read that Lucas is working on the next Indiana Jones movie.

ok its my little confession..i watched it and It was crap,it didn't look great. it looked like the start of a computer game and Ewan mcgregorY was rubbish. quite apart from the beard, his character was no more than a series of smirking in-jokes and a caricature of alec guinness. hayden christiansen was rubbish. 'go on hayden... look evil! look out from under lowered brows again!' the whole script was rubbish! i mean, you might (tho i wasn't especially) be.... impressed by the effects, but that isnt enough to make a good movie. is it? it was crap! the whole thing!
boring until the last 20 mins, and then you suddenly wondered how it had happened that you didn't care how anakin became darth vader anymore. mind you, ian mcdiamid was ok. he was the only actor to come out with any credit.
its a f**kIN n waste of 2 hours 20 minutes of your life. its only marginally better than the last two. download it and watch it for free, rather than wasting your money...I thought ICE CUBE made bad movies ..u aint see nothing yet

| just saw revenge of the sith and i admit its a good movie the scripts and acting are kinda corny but still worth it. it makes you wana go watch the rest of the starwars movie since its starts from sith backwards. apart from return of the jedi i dont really like the old starwars movies i think they are just kind boring, the worst of all which was the phantom menace george lucas should have been slapped for making that sh*thole of a film. but if you wana see this movie you should check out the clone wars a 2hours series which is an animation, because revenge of the sith begins where the anime series ends Last edited on Saturday May 28th, 2005 22:21 by the soul machine

| Saw it last nite...well, i must say that i was quite surprised how an ok film it was.....i think this one is by far the best....it was much more grown up, the actions were breath taking.....although i must say the acting is worse than Hollyoaks(sp).....but overall it was a good viewing.

I saw this on Friday its quite a good film, first I saw star wars film and didn't sleep , although at the beginning I was fighting it, but afterwards it got quite intersting, I think there is far to much effects in the film, so it was quite difficult to think anything in the film was real.
A bit predictable though, and there were some corny scenes in there acting was surreal, I mean a blockbuster film with bad acting , you will have thought the actors would have put a bit more effort into it, I think the robots did better acting them.
overall
8/10

Blackthought,
I was more worried about not being able to get any tickets for it because I heard that there were a lot of sell outs with this movie. Luckily, after church, I caught the matinee and I was able to see it. I was also worried that the picture may suck( Notice that when the film critics hype something up, most times it isn't worthmy time to see it)but I was pleasantly suprised. I really liked it.
Far as this Star Wars, it answered on my questions: How did Darth Vader become Darth Vader? and somewhat of a sillier question, is it mandatory for him to be in his suit?( Yes! I found out that he does). I will admit, as a child, I watched the movie, but didn't grasp the story line although I liked the movie, that was why Darth Vader Luke Skywalker's dad. That took me for a jolt! I always thought that Anakin was Anakin. I never thought that he would turn out to be Darth Vader. The story line in the movie was very comprehensive and that is what I liked about the movie.

Star War's.....................ehmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
I must admit I have only seen the other episodes sparadically every Christmas (when BBC or ITV are playing them). But yes I was caught up in the wave of hype and went to see the movie with my partner and his friends (all die hard Star War's fans). I thought right I am going in there with an open mind and just enjoy the movie for what it is. So bought all the snacks and settled down, schuffled a couple of yawns (it was the 20:00 Friday showing on the opening night), watched and ate snacks happily. Snacks finished and schuffled more yawns, got the full drift of the movie and knew the storyline and eventual outcome in first 20 minutes. Leaned back and fell asleep woke up just as Anakin and Obicenobi (spelling) was fighting.
Things I did not like:
- Anakin's so called romance with the princess - Yawn (no chemistry)
- The princess seemed almost not bothered that Anakin had gone to the dark side
- The six foot bears (WTF)
- WHY OH WHY are all the storylines so obvious???
Things I did like:
- They did not over do it on modern special effects but kept it fresh, so that you could watch all the episodes back to back without spotting the 70's, 80's, 90's & 00's technlogy movement - making in kind of ageless
- It eventually finished so that I could go home
Funny enough my partner thought it was OK - nothing to write home about, one of his friends was watching it again the following day with his nephew (yeah yeah) and another friend said that he almost passed out because he kept forgetting to swallow(LOL).

a lot of yoda was still CGI, its impossibly to make a robot do somersaults !!!!. No your right it is a lot better than CGI, which really got to me in the other films
i really liked it, im a fan of ewan mcgregor anyway but tis still a good movie. Apart from the really cheesy "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" by darth vader at the end ha ha

I thought the movie was pretty good compared to the other Star Wars Movies. None of the Star Wars movies are hailed for being oscar worthy. Star Wars is not the type of movie you put up oscar worthy acting for. Im sure none the actors signed onto star wars with the expectations of critical acclaim from the critics. However, I thougth that Hayden and the guy who played Lord Sidious did a very good job as far as acting is concerned.

Watched revenge of the sith... i hate to say it but i thought it was fantastic. Grrr now i have to go around admitting star wars movies are not a bunch of waste of time childish crap...
Anyway, yeh visually the film was excellent, they did well preserving continuity as well and the scenery simply breathtaking… Every scene, fight was wow… Only draw back was when Anakin tries to speak… boy couldn’t act to save his neck… Terrible. But still the film was brilliant.

I agree about Hayden Christensen (Anakin) He's got that annyoing nasal thing going on, Obi won should have chopped off his head instead of his legs.
