OMG
what a good movie, has anyone had the chance to see it!!!
you all need to see this film STANDARD, women esp.
it is just amazing, to me anyways i watched it like 4 times, on priate dvd of course!!
Am not sure when it is out over here yet but expect it like the end of this year because it only got released in america in feb, so Lord knows....
the begnning is just the best, so tense that it makes you wanna cry, and feel the hurt and the pain for the woman but it is very funny as well esp. the 'MAD BLACK WOMAN'S' grandma and her family, the gran steels the show, completely.
you guys have to see this, i think this is BLACK CINEMA at its best, because u just know it is made by black people for black people, women anyways...

Ive seen this film (downloaded it) and its really good. I feel really sorry for Helen when her husbands treating her like dirt then drags her out the house so he can move his new woman and kids in. Then she gets her own back which is brilliant. Good film.

aside from the fact that the grand mother is played by a man?!???
same man who plays the part of the dude married to the crack addict...
why the need to sneak gay sh*t like that into a movie is a mystery to me....
aside from that the movie was cool...i guess

I would love to watch and enjoy that movie..especially because white critics hated it so much! Funny how they really really hate to empathise with us...angry that so many of our probs is so identifiable and unthreatening

| One of my best friedns has seen this film and she said she cried until her eyes were puffy...I'm definately looking forward to seeing it.... but I dont want to watch a pirate version.

| I liked the movie as well.......but the actual play was even better.....brillliantly done, i may add.........I loved the premise and the outcome of the story line......KUDOS! Tyler Perry once again.

Hi
I wanna see this film soooo bad more so cause Shemar Moore is one of my fav actors. I have a couple of his films on DVD. He should be more mainstream by now hopefully it will happen soon.I don`t care if people say it`s sh*t i`m sure i will like it!
I`m worrying a bit because when they finally release it it might be a region 1 codeing and i have a region 2 dvd and video player.International movies are hard to buy for brits! Please make it a region 2 codeing so i can buy it dear god...lol

Yeah I tried via ares to.
I ended up getting the stage play !!!!
The download was it a dvd rip ?
If not was it decent quality ?
I may try again this weekend.

I watched a fairly decent pirate copy at the weekend......I thought the film was hilarious, tragic and desperate all at the same time...... I was angry for her in the beginning and felt disgusted by her in the end, but it goes to show..... KARMA is POWERFUL and the earth likes to makes things right again...the oppressed will have their chance for vengenance against the oppressor. The question is will they take it....
My only criticsm is the ending .....more officer and a gentlemen than anything else.

I watched the film the other night with my brother, he was initially quite sceptical about seeing it, but by the end he couldnt stop raving about it!
One of my funniest moments is when the Granmothers brother(cant memba his name) is sat in the frontroom with Helen and her gran, and hes kicking off about her staying there.Then he says to her;
'Get...Get Out!'
Aint that the line what the evil entity said to the family who moved in to the haunted house in Poltergeist?
It was hilarious!
The guy who she eventually got with,Orlando, was fiiiiinnnnnnneeeee!!!! ***wipes drool of lip***
But those fake a**e, quasi-looking,stuck-on canerow killed it!
Enjoyed it much!!!
